Everything was well organised - The Border Tour was amazing! Our guide picked us up from the railway station and took us to the border. We got there early, so we had time to enjoy the energetic atmosphere. The crowd was cheering for the soldiers. Our guide helped us leave at the right time, so we avoided the big crowds. Everything was well-organized, even on short notice.

Excellent guide for the Waga border - Our guide and driver Ravish messaged us with very detailed instructions about when and where he would meet us with an alternative if the traffic was difficult. Driving in a busy Indian city, especially old Amritsar is an experience in organised chaos at its best. Ravish got us safely to Waga, he had lots of interesting history to explain about the border and ceremony, showed us how to get into the stadium and got us through the VIP entrance even though we are not. I’m sure there are lots of great reviews of the closing ceremony but in brief it’s well worth seeing. It didn’t disappoint. Ravish also gave us some very useful tips about things to see in the other areas of India we are visiting. He is obviously well travelled and loves his country.

The trip and entry were made smooth - Visiting the India-Pakistan Atari Wagah border for the military parade was an unforgettable experience. The trip and entry were made smooth, thanks to the guide and his helpful tips. The atmosphere was vibrant, and enthusiastic crowds could be seen on both sides. Ordinary citizens cheering for their soldiers and nation was a humbling sight. The seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's best to arrive early. If this trip is being planned, the tour agency and guide come highly recommended.

Where else could you experience something like this. - This activity is a must do when staying in Amritsar. Travelling in your own car, with a very knowledgeable and passionate driver is certainly the way to go. He led us through the ins and outs of proceeding into the stadium and was there ready when proceedings finished to take us back to Amritsar. The 'performance' leading up to the flag lowering and closing of the gates shows lots of tradition and choreography. One must see the 'show', as it is very difficult to describe.

Beating hearts at wagah - Our visit to the Wagah Border parade was an unforgettable experience! Our guide took exceptional care of seniors in our group, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout. The car provided was clean, comfortable, and arrived on time. Our driver drove safely and efficiently, making the journey smooth. A tip for future visitors: the parade can get very loud, so consider bringing earplugs! The ceremony itself was amazing, with great views and an electric atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.

Very Dramatic wagah border ceremony. - As a solo traveler, I booked a Wagah Border ceremony tour with Globe Trek. They picked me up from the congested Town Hall Road in Old Amritsar, and my guide Ravish was accommodating and flexible with my needs. Ravish briefed me on the tour plan, sharing the history and background of the Wagah Border ceremony. We made a fascinating stop at Khalsa College, admiring its stunning architecture and watching college girls play hockey. I requested a tea break, and Ravish patiently obliged, taking me to Via Lahore restaurant. Finally, we arrived at the border ceremony, which was dramatic and loud. I appreciated the symbolic coming together of two forces. Thank you for a memorable evening!
