This tour is available every Friday during August and September. The journey begins with an approximately 45-minute drive to Alkmaar, offering delightful views of the quintessential Dutch countryside along the way.

Upon arrival in Alkmaar, the tour proceeds to the Alkmaar Cheese Market. Here, participants can experience the age-old cheese trading traditions, where history truly comes alive. Following this, there is some free time to enjoy lunch (not included) or shop for souvenirs in Alkmaar.

After exploring the charming town of Alkmaar, the tour continues to the Henri Willig Cheese Farm. Visitors will receive an explanation of the Dutch cheese-making process, have the opportunity to taste various cheeses, and see the farm’s Jersey cows.

The total travel time of approximately 2 hours is included in the 6-hour tour duration.
