5 Star Tour and Tour Guide ***** - Booked for 4 adults and 5 kids as whistlestop city tour as part of a Mini Cruise from Newcastle. It was a really great tour, a fab route through the city. Learnt lots about Amsterdam, it's people, culture and history. Willem (our guide) was so lovely and really patient with our large group of mixed ages and abilities. Got a real feel for the city in a short space of time, and for me it was much better than a typical city bus tour. *Ask for a helmet if you want one, they'll happily supply but they dont give you one automatically. *We did this tour in February and definitely needed gloves and hats. *The bikes have one front brake on the handlebars and a back pedal break which we all got the hang of pretty quickly, but it felt a bit strange to begin with. Highly recommend - Excellent tour, saw all the sights in Amsterdam, guide was lovely and very helpful. We had a private tour and booking was very easy and accommodating.

Introduction to the city - Even on a cold and wet day the tour was great way to understand the city and provide history for the kids.

Amsterdam by wheels! - Easy to follow and ride about the town. Make sure you know how to ride as it is very busy. Lots of stops to point out interesting and historical places.

Amazing tour - It was so nice we had tour gide Willen he is so great, the way he is telling us everything is so nice, woensdag you are in de big city book thuis tour is a great experiance.

Super bike ride - Very nice bike ride with Willem as guide. Our 5-year-old daughter was sitting on the back and never got bored. That's saying a lot. Big kudos to Willem. Educational and fun bike ride. Ideal way to explore Amsterdam. Also good that it was in Dutch for our daughter. I often read that this was in English and not the case here!

Enjoyable, fun and cold - As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour around Amsterdam. Our guide did a great job and showed us some interesting areas. More explanation and facts would have been good but it was a bit tricky on a bike. My bike seat went down which did not help my knees and getting over the bridges. I would suggest anyone going in the cooler months to rug up and wear gloves and a beanie as it gets cold.
