Entertaining canal tour - We had a great time with Jan! He provided history on Amsterdam and described how the canals were created. He also entertained us with other facts and stories. There were breakfast drinks and delicious sugar bread. Would highly recommend!

Amazing morning cruise in winter - Dave was an amazing guide, so personable and welcoming but also very knowledgeable. We had the canals all to ourselves.

Wonderful boat tour with Dave! - Wonderful time! Dave had many interesting stories about Amsterdam including historical photos. Gave us restaurant recommendations too. Local guy who owns the boat. Highly recommend this small, vintage boat tour that gives you a unique experience. Very quiet on the canals in the morning.

Terrific tour with great storytelling and views - This was a terrific cruise. Jan was a great storyteller and cleared loved his work and his city. We got to see and hear about parts of Amsterdam we would never have experienced without being on a boat in the canal. It is a small boat and only 10 people on the tour making it more enjoyable. Our only regret was we didn’t do the cruise on the day we arrived in Amsterdam as Jan shared information about a whole lot of good places to eat, drink and visit and we ran out of time to go to them all. Highly recommended.

The best canal cruise experience! - The best canal cruise experience! The pick up location was easy to find and the boat was beautiful. Our tour guide, Jan, made the entire experience a 10/10! He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and pointed out really interesting landmarks and buildings. He also gave us wonderful recommendations for places in AMS. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful Experience - It was a difficult morning weather wise as it rained steadily for virtually the entire tour. Our guide Tony was fantastic with an amazing amount of information both historically and current. As an Australian in his 60s I learnt a lot about the Dutch explorers in my youth and their travels to the East and before our country was colonised. Obviously a sunny day would have enhanced the experience but the weather can’t be controlled. It was an intimate experience and Tony was so hospitable with coffee, juice and treats available for all on board. The vintage boat was also nice and cosy. My daughter and I really enjoyed it and would recommend it on a visit to Amsterdam.

Quiet and serene cruising - Cap’t Dave’s boat was being repaired. The replacement was a beautiful 109 year old restored boat. Jan was our knowledgeable captain who guided through the quiet early morning of Amsterdam. Coffee, OJ and sugar bread are delicious offerings from Dave. Highly recommend the 8:00am cruise.
