Beautiful scenery with a wonderful guide - Our tour guide, Tristen, was the Dutch Superman! Some of the tourists were on the shorter side (myself included) and most of the bikes available at the shop was not the right fit for us. Tristen went out of his way to get bikes for everyone to feel comfortable on this tour. He carried over 3 bikes that he got from a different area all on top of his own bike! Very impressive! Once we got on our bikes, we took a beautiful tour along the countryside. Tristen made sure we were safe and let us know of any precautions we needed to take along the way. We had a few stops throughout the trip for snacks and drinks. While we had a lunch break, Tristen put air in all the kayaks. I don't know if he got to take a break! Kayaking was a great workout and we got to see all the beautiful homes and animals in the area. Tristen made sure to help those who needed it. He would hang back to help someone in the kayak and magically come back to the front of the group in no time. Our tour ended with a bike ride back to where we started. Overall, it was a wonderful way to get away from the city, exercise, and see the marvelous countryside. Tristen was an amazing tour guide and we highly recommend this trip!

Cycling and Kayaking - Tristan was absolutely brilliant. What was most amazing was that everything was completely organised as much as possible in advance. The preparation that went into being organised before we got there, when we were enjoying lunch and at the end of the day meant he really made for an enjoyable day for us with no fuss. When things went wrong, he sorted out all the problems. It was a tiring day, lots of cycling, and kayaking, but absolutely fine for mum or dad to take a lead for when our 10 year old decided his arms were tired! Only thing I would suggest is make sure if you have a young family they are robust enough to handle a day of cycling and kayaking. Thank you Tristan for a great day.

Amazing day with Tristan! - Tristan was an amazing tour guide. He guided us safely through the streets and countryside and on the canal and also gave us a bit of history and background on Dutch people and the Netherlands. He was friendly and organized. My son asked me if we can do it again the next time we visit!

One of the best things to do in Amsterdam - This tour was beautiful, such a great experience with Tristan, he's such a nice guy. We were only a small group which was great, we cycled out of Amsterdam into the countryside and stopped a few times to see things, lunch at lovely broek church and then kayaking through the little villages before a leisurely cycle back via a different route. A very special experience! I would highly recommend it. Tristan was kind and had some great information to share with us along the way too. The meeting point was easy to find and it was great value for money, 5 stars definitely!

Great guide, great itinerary, great tour! - Our family had a wonderful time on this tour! The guide was very friendly, engaging, and fun. The biking route on the way to the kayak launch point took us through the countryside where we saw plenty of natural beauty and enough farm animals to keep our animal loving daughter engaged. We also stopped at a windmill and a small petting zoo. The kayak portion was relaxing and let us see the countryside from a different perspective. The cows at the mid-point were one of the highlights! During the kayak trip we stopped for lunch at a local church cafe. We have a child with celiac and the cafe had NOTHING on the menu that was gluten friendly, but the guide helped us work with the owner to make a plate with meat and cheese with a small salad. The guide truly seemed concerned to ensure our daughter was able to find something to eat. The bike ride after the kayak trip was a bit longer and let the group really get into the biking groove. The ride was about an hour and we made a short stop to get fresh, unpasteurized, organic milk from a farm and it was amazing. Overall, this was a great trip I would recommend for anybody who enjoys being active while on vacation!
