Strong recommend - What a great way to see the countryside around Amsterdam. We had a really good time led by Veronica. We enjoyed the views, the bird life, the history, the buildings and the delicious apple cake.

Countryside bike tour - Family of 2 adults, a 13 yr old and a 10yr old. Brilliantly organised. Met at the rental shop by Amsterdam Centraal and left from there. Did a lovely leisurely cycle ride through the countryside (see photo of route - watch not started until after the ferry ride on the outgoing stretch…. So a bit longer than shown). Astrid, our tour leader, taught us about water management in Amsterdam.

Wonderful wheeling with Willem! - We had a wonderful tour through the countryside with Willem. It was nice to get out of the busy city and see the rural area. Willem provided lots of interesting history along the way and the apple pie at the halfway point was amazing!

Thanks! - The guide called the modern windmills bird-killers which is not a fair characterization of the overall value and importance of wind energy, especially as compared to burning fossil fuels.
