De Pijp with Katya - First order of business is to come hungry!! Katya took us on a fabulous tour of De Pijp and the Albert Cuyp market...sharing local stories, information, and recommendations. The food stops were small, local businesses that welcomed us and served delicious food. Be sure and request Katya!

Eating Athens September and on to Eating Amsterdam April - We have just booked Eating Europe Amsterdam! That's how much we enjoyed our Eating Europe Athens tour. We thoroughly loved the tour. Plenty of time to wander from one stop to the next while enjoying the food and getting familiar with the areas we walked through. Nice variety of options. Dessert made right in front of us, a hidden gem of a coffee shop where we got to try Turkish coffee (that was a surprising experience), a local shop with meats and cheese plus the outdoor market with a variety of foods to bring home. Christina was informative and welcoming. Clearly we are sold on this concept :)

Amsterdam Albert Cuyp Food Tour - We've been to Amsterdam several times but Katya helped us see it differently this time around. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The tour we allowed us to see the city from a locals perspective. We would definitely recommend the Albert Cuyp food tour with Eating Europe.

Danielle was an amazing... - Danielle was an amazing guide through the classic Dutch foods of Amsterdam. While the food was delicious, it was Danielle’s knowledge of the neighborhood and city’s history that made the tour. I loved her personal stories and interest in her guests. Definitely recommend!

Amsterdam like a local! - Danielle was a wonderful guide and the highlight of our time exploring De Pijp. Her great passion for the area and recollection of memories growing up in the neighborhood helped us learn more about how the food and culture evolved. On a particularly cold day, she navigated us to the best places to warm up. While we enjoyed many of the local specialties like the apple pie, pea soup, and bitterbollen, the Sjoerds Loekie cheese shop and stroll through Albert Cuyp market were absolute highlights for us. Bravo, Danielle! What a memorable time getting away from the large crowds and into the local neighborhoods.

Excellent first day! Get to know the city and have great food at the same time! - We had a great time on our food tour in Amsterdam with Bernardo at Eating Europe. Three couples arrived in Amsterdam after traveling 20+ hours from the United States, and Bernado met us at our hotel for a private tour. We had traditional coffee and pastries, gouda cheese, pickled herring, and other delectable bites, all while learning about the city and culture. The tour ended in a very old pub to sample bitter liquor, beer and bitterballen. The tour was a great way to power through the first day while learning our way around the city.
