Snurk.Travel - the agency which helped me to fall in love with Netherlands - It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. And although now i live here - i still allocate time for discovering this beautiful country and close neighbourhood with the same agency and same guide , as they earned trust and respect.

The best way to learn about Jordaan and Amsterdam in general - We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.

Lovely walking tour with Anna!!! - Our tour guide Anna was punctual and easy to find. She was well prepared and very personable. I enjoyed the time with her and would definitley recommend her services to anyone visiting Amsterdam. She had taken the time to look up a couple personal stops for me that involved pottery, glass and antiques which I loved. I want to thank her for making the tour very memorable. Jordaan is an interesting excursion. More new than I had anticipated but she showed us parts we would never had noticed like the little corridors between buildings and a courtyard as well as a great little pub to have coffee and apple pie and then a great local spot to eat lunch which was amazing. I'd highly recommend the traditional pea soup - YUM!!

Half day tour of Jordaan. - Anna, my intern guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her background in architectural studies and urban living brought many fun facts to light as we meandered the streets of the historically less well off area of Jordaan.
