Really fun and interesting - We had a couple or hours to spend in Amsterdam. And on top it was raining. After we could not get into the Anne Frank house, we decided to go on a canalcruise. At first we were sceptical. But, . . ..captain Simon made our day. Fun and interesting! Full of jokes and really interactive. He made us feel a part of the city.

Admire Amsterdam from the water with a nice skipper - Fun and enjoyable to do with the family. But skipper Jim was the highlight. Nice storyteller who made it an even better experience with his humor!

Perfect way to rest your feet for 1.5 hours - My friend and I recently did a loop aroiund the city in a boat captained by Tineke. She and the entire experience were lovely. We had been walking for miles at this point and really wanted to take in the city via boat. The boat ride was very mellow and serene. While we purchased the hop on hop off ticket, we ended up doing the full loop and then exiting the boat. It was sad to get off but we had more exploring to do. This is also a really great rainy activity as you can stay on it until it stops raining. Overall we had a very nice experience and would recommend it to anyone in the city.

Excellent Canal Cruise!!! - A great way to get some bearings of the city….Hop on hop off facility is great as you can make the most of your time exploring different areas. The Captain Harry Slinger is excellent, very informative and witty through-out the journey. There is an app that is great as you can keep track of the boats. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Very good 👍👍 - We bought the 24 hrs Hop-on-hop-off. Validity was not on calendar day. We started at around 11am and valid till 11am the next day. Through the journey, you would listen to the recorded guide to introduce the places. They had several boats to run the whole route. On our last trip, we completed the whole circle line. We boarded on their small boat. The Captain was a young guy. He was very informative and funny to introduce places along the journey in addition to the recorded guide. He told us something more interesting about Amsterdam and also where to take good photos.

Fun - The cruise was fun and easy to find, right in front of the Anne Frank House. The captain did a great job with commentary, but when the boat gets full, it's difficult to be in a position to take photos.

Oddly political tour guide commentary - The cruise was lovely but the tour guide continuously made comments and jokes that were clearly political - saying things like “the people of Amsterdam don’t like the mayor because she is a hypocrite” and making derogatory comments about the city’s transition to being car free. These comments were made as fact, not opinion, which was concerning to me given that many of the tourists on the boat will leave with the impression that this is fact and not just one person’s political view.

Noisy non Informative Light Festival Boat trip. - I understand I live in a touristic town, I really do and I don't mind. I do mind when experiences in this beautiful town are poor because 'touristic'. Shame on you! Never ever again, it was a noisy boat. Sqeeking sound every three seconds (how about the people living in the houseboats?), therefore unpleasant and irritating for 90 minutes. The talk about the art was non existent and the boat is superuncomfortable and crammed. Get your stuff together for 26 euro's per person.
