Organized, understandable and relevant - Excellent guide and able to see the highlights of both museums in one day. There is no way you could cover so much, see so much and learn so much on your own.

Great Way to See Both Museums in One Day - My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting the Rijks and Van Gogh museums on our small-group guided Babylon tour. Our guide, Maria, was prompt, friendly, patient, and knew everything about everything in both museums. We chose a guided tour because we had only one day to visit both locations - not an easy feat - and we hoped that a knowledgeable guide would help us navigate entry and move through the collections efficiently, maximizing what we were able to experience in the time available. Maria did just that, and the full-day guided tour is a great approach if you’re short on time like we were. If, however, you have more time on your hands, I’d recommend a different strategy: spend a full day at the Rijksmuseum and do the self-guided audio tour available through the museum, then on a different day do Babylon’s half-day small group guided tour of the Van Gogh Museum. In the Rijksmuseum there is so much to see that a couple of hours can’t do it justice, plus it’s the kind of place where half the fun is wandering around the collections at your own pace. Also, on the day we visited the Rijksmuseum was extremely crowded and noisy (lots of groups), so hearing our guide was a bit of a challenge. The Van Gogh Museum is a different story - you can see it all in a couple hours, the crowd noise wasn’t a problem, and Maria’s narration provided a much richer experience than we’d have had via another approach. However you arrange your visits, both museums are amazing and definitely worth adding to your Amsterdam itinerary.

Best Art Museum Tour - My wife and I could not have enjoyed this deep dive into art. Anna, our guide exceeded all our expectations. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the art but she brought it to life with background stories about the artist, his life and the times. All the audio equipment worked great and Anna cared for the small group as if it was family. Anna was 5 star.

All in a day - Our tour guide provided a narrative outside your typical museum experience, navigating the highlights while providing more context and tying the experience together. There was a lot to cover but we never felt rushed.

Hurried and a bit superficial. Pricey for the value. - Guide was not as authoritative as one would suspect. Compared to many Dutch, her English was not great. Not great value.
