- Munt Tower (Munttoren) - The Munttoren, or ‘De Munt’, officially known as Regulierstoren, was once part of the Regulierspoort. This city gate was among the three main gates of Amsterdam’s medieval fortifications.
- Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam Hotel - Across from the Amstel, you’ll find Hotel Doelen. Before the hotel, the Kloveniersdoelen, a building for the shooters or kloveniers, stood here in the 17th century. Rembrandt’s renowned painting, The Night Watch, was displayed here from 1642 to 1715. The Doelen Hotel has hosted notable guests, including the Beatles in 1964 and Empress Elizabeth of Austria.
