One of the top highlights of our week long trip to the Netherlands! - Captain Erik was fun, knowledgeable, entertaining, and interactive. The food and drinks were the icing on top of a fantastic more intimate tour with beautiful views and information of the history of Amsterdam. He was also great at including my 10yr old daughter. I am so grateful to have had this experience especially after seeing how packed the other larger less expensive tours were!

Really enjoyable - The guide was excellent and kept us out of harms way on this Friday afternoon floating along the canals. We got great photos and we learned so much about Amsterdam. Once we got off, we kind of knew where everything was. We saw all the people on the big boats and we're happy to have this more intimate experience. It was comfortable and open air.

Leisurely way to see... - Leisurely way to see Amsterdam. Guide was very knowledgeable, and pointed out lots of interesting things along the way other than just the major sites.

Ask for Ricky! - We selected a boat without a roof so that we would be able to take photos without things in the way. Luckily we hopped onto Ricky’s boat. He was very well informed concerning Amsterdam, the history, the canals, the buildings and folklore. He was also able to speak in fluent English and fluent German to keep all his passengers informed. It was an amazing trip. Thank you Ricky Frans!

Entertaining canal cruise with Captain Ricky Frans in an open boat - We set off at 10 a.m. on an open boat opposite the main train station for a one-hour tour. Our captain Ricky Frans explained the highlights along the route in a very entertaining way (mostly in English, a little German). We really enjoyed his numerous, entertaining pieces of information and would happily recommend him to you.

Our Amsterdam boat trip - My husband and I went on the Amsterdam Canal Cruise a few days ago and it was fantastic. Ricky the captain of the boat was so much fun and interacted so well with everyone on the boat while also providing us with great information about Amsterdam's historic sites. We really enjoyed this boat trip as was so relaxing also. I would highly recommend it.

Fun and informative - Lovely trip through the canals with Ricky, who was really funny. The boat had blankets and umbrellas and Ricky had some local snacks for us to try. Was a really great experience!

Open boat tour with guide Ricky - We did a nice 75' tour, open boat, electric vehicle, about 20 guests. Guide Ricky from Sumatra told very interesting facts and stories - not too much, just enough to remember and to appreciate. He was keen on posing as well as answering various questions on past present and future of Amsterdam. Recommanded!
