  • Hans Egstorf - Our next stop is the oldest bakery in Amsterdam, where we savor the delicious Stroopwafels they’ve been making since 1898.
  • Spui - In one of the city’s oldest areas, we delve into Amsterdam’s old traditions and sample a variety of local delicacies.
  • Van Stapele Koekmakerij - Skip the long line with us! This highly sought-after treat features a dark chocolate dough with a delectable white chocolate filling. The cookie is crisp on the edges but soft and gooey inside.
  • Fabel Friet - Skip this even longer line with us! A must-visit for foodies, this spot is famous for its Dutch fries made from sustainably grown potatoes and topped with unique Dutch sauces.
  • Bloemenmarkt - (Morning Tour) Pass by Europe’s oldest floating market and learn about the impact of Tulip Mania on the Netherlands.
  • The Amstel - (Morning Tour Only) Marvel at this beautiful viewpoint and soak in the stunning scenery from this wide-angled vantage point. Enjoy the terrace with a premium Dutch beer (not just a simple lager) and the best Dutch bar snack, Bitterballen.
  • Jordaan - (Afternoon Tour Only) On our way to the vibrant Jordaan neighborhood, we pass by the Anne Frank House. Amazing Food Tour! - WOW! Richard and Hollanda tours is amazing! Richard is personable, thoughtful, patient and knowledgable with a love for his city that shines through. We tasted many great foods (even visiting the oldest bakery), all while seeing Amsterdam and learning interesting things about the architecture, history and seeing hidden treasures we would have just walked past without knowing. The Gin and Jenever tasting is fun and there are many other surprises along the way with thoughtful touches too. Cheese and Porto, delightful cookies (the best I have ever tasted), Bitterballen and a beer at a wonderful restaraunt are among the many tasting opportunities. You can see Richard is respected and well-liked at all the places we visited. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it truly is a wonderful experience!

Great tour of Amsterdam - Our tour guide, Richard was great. Very personable and made sure we were enjoying the tour. Provided us with a lot of historical information and the food tastings were fantastic. The freshly made chocolate cookies from the local bakery were incredible. Thank you Richard for the experience and the "surprise " bakery treat!!

Lovely Food, Beautiful City, Great Guide - A brilliant and very filling food tour! Richard was a friendly and knowledgeable host and we discovered parts of Amsterdam we wouldn't have found on our own. Skipping the queues at the most popular spots was a big advantage. The food was delicious as was the Port, Jenever & Gin and it was a good balance of sweet and savoury treats. We couldn't get to the cookie shop due to road closures for Liberation Day celebrations so Richard very kindly got us some apple pie at our last stop which rounded the tour off nicely! Would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour of Amsterdam & Dutch cuisine! - I've been on many walking city/food tours but Richard's will remain as one of my favorites. He showed around Amsterdam (sharing some very interesting stories) while we enjoyed some Dutch sweets and snacks that were very tasty! I would totally recommend you join this food tour if you are in Amsterdam :).

Best way to experience the best food in Amsterdam - I live in Amsterdam and have wanted to try many of these famous places for a long time, but have always been put off by the long queues! The queue jump is one of the things that really appealed to me, but Richard really made the tour! Such a knowledgable and friendly guy. Highly recommend.

Amsterdam Bites: A Sweet & Savory Adventure! - I had a blast on this Amsterdam food tour! The guide was super cool and knew everything about the spots we hit up. We got to try all sorts of Dutch goodies, from sweet stroopwafels to some seriously tasty cheese. It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. Plus, walking around and learning random fun facts about the city as we munched was pretty awesome. If you’re ever in Amsterdam and wanna dive into some local eats with a fun twist, this is your go-to. Absolutely recommend!
