What a difference a knowledgeable local guide makes! - Not having been to Amsterdam since the early 1980s, a reintroduction to the city and all its attractions was important. Our guide, Aaron, was knowledgeable, personable and patient. Since he majored in history, military history at university, he not only knew the historical facts about The Netherlands and its glorious past, but he was able to clarify the present day issues as well as connect them to the past events and turmoils. Amsterdam is a fascinating multi-faceted city, and we were lucky enough to be here for Pride Week which added to Amsterdam’s allure for being culturally diverse, seeing all people as part of a greater good, and promoting a general sympathetic sensibility for people from all over the world. Aaron had us travel through Dutch history in Amsterdam as we walked and visited some of the more interesting venues and areas. Besides gaining an enhanced view of the Dutch and their fascinating culture, Aaron also provided us a solid foundation for future visits and a clear map of the city and its tricky places. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Aaron, and we would certainly recommend him to anyone coming to Amsterdam for the first time or the fifth time.

Outstanding! - Jack was outstanding! We came straight off our overseas flight and worried we would be too tired to enjoy the tour. Not so - it was like spending 3 hours with a friend, and we left feeling educated and energized. Thanks!

10/10 Recommend - Peter was a wonderful guide- knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. He recognized my parents were a bit slower and kept the pace reasonable and offered breaks all the while sharing so much about the history and architecture of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam - Guide was knowledgeable. Spoke a little too quickly at times and his Irish accent made it difficult at times to understand him but overall a pleasant experience

Good Overview of Amsterdam - This tour is a great way to get an overview of Amsterdam at the start of your trip. The tour does have a lot of walking. Our guide walked fairly fast and two members of our group struggled to keep up. Our group size was four. Masha was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the city. Some things that we learned were why there are bikes with flowers on them. Why some canals have less house boats. Finally, we saw many churches and got an intro to the Red Light District.
