Terrific, informative and entertaining tour of Amsterdam! - David took us on a wandering route through Amsterdam's city center, sharing the history of the city - and his love for it along the way. I loved the old passageway near the Palace that was cleaned up and decorated by artists with images and symbols that reflected the canals. We walked around the Dam square area, the old medieval area, then the working class area, where we stopped in a “brown” pub for drinks. David's commentary was informative and entertaining! We saw the place where Heineken started, the old building where jenever gin was distilled, and the 1600s tasting room. The tour was a good overview of Amsterdam - the city and its culture. Thank you David!

Amsterdam with David - Discover, learn, enrich yourself (intellectually, of course), be surprised, laugh, that's all you do when you visit with David. The icing on the cake, we discovered that David had lived in France just in the cousin building of the one where our son is staying! The world is really small!

A highly informative and engaging tour. - I have been living in Amsterdam for almost 2 years now but had yet to take a proper tour of the city. Our tour guide, David, was informative and continuously inspired our curiosity with every site and story we learned about. He was patient and always pleasant with our group. I'd highly recommend other visitors and Amsterdam explorers to take this tour.

Discover the history of the world’s most liberal city - Did this tour on Sunday morning. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for 12 years, but the guide taught me plenty about the city which I didn’t already know. Route starts and ends in Dam Square, looping out both east and west and breaking approximately halfway through near Centraal Station. Nice small group.

Recommended, pleasantly surprised to have gotten to know my hometown in this way. - David was enthusiastic and you can tell that he enjoys what he does and wants to share his knowledge. Professional and cordial at the same time. Has many answers to the questions and communicates instead of teaching. Two-way conversation. I am now more aware of the history of Amsterdam, while it never interested me so much in my daily life in Amsterdam. Will read more about it, following the example of David, who also keeps discovering new things and is happy with them and will study them. I would have liked to see the route on a map, but I can also check that myself or I should have turned on Strava. Appreciated his tips on pubs and lunch spots and must-see museums.
