COLD 🥶 🥶🥶🥶 - An extremely unique experience and surprisingly the drinks are good and not watered down. Bone chilling cold!!!! A must do, includes three free drinks. Dress warm.

Freezing Cold Fun - It was a new and fun experience to be in the Icebar with a -9°C temperature. Even the shot glasses are made of ice, which we confirmed when we accidentally dropped one. We enjoyed the welcome cocktail before entering the ice room, as well as the flavored vodka shots once inside. We only stayed 10-15 minutes because of the cold, but we have a couple of great photos to remember the experience.

Tesco freezer 🤣 - It was ok for something to do! Basically just going into a walk-in freezer that you'd find in the back of Tesco or Asda haha ... Very small room, ok for the drink and photo... although my photo was blurry so they let us back in the freezer room for another photo and an extra free drink of Sambuco!

Poor experience due to staff rudeness - Good experience marred only by the continual rudeness od the staff from the clerk at the front to the bar staff. Coats were too small for everyone in the group I was with and gloves were in poor condition. Staff removed drinks before people were finished with them. Would never be tempted to return.

Disappointing and Overrated - We decided to give this a try after hearing good things, and the pictures online looked promising. However, we were unfortunately disappointed. When it was our time to go in the ice bar, we were rounded up and taken through to get our coats and gloves. The coat was fine, however the gloves were disgusting and looked/felt like they hadn’t been washed in a long long time. In regards to the ice bar itself, it was wayyy smaller than anticipated, and only had about 2 places to sit down and very few tables to place our drinks. There must have been around 30 people in our group, which felt like way too much for such a tiny room. We got our first drink, which was an ice cold heineken in an iced glass. However once you have a drink, there is not much else to do at all. It just felt like one big photo opportunity. We spent our time dodging other people as it was too overcrowded. About a third of the way through our second drink, we decided to leave early as we were clearly disappointed from the experience. On another note, the staff weren’t exactly as friendly and accommodating as you’d hoped they would be, especially when it came to customer service. Maybe we had just visited on a bad day, but all-in-all, it was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we’d hoped it would have been.

Extreme ice bar in Amsterdam - It was a tourist gimmick. The room was small and they let too many people in at one time. Hard to get a drink and wasn’t an enjoyable experience

Terrible place avoid - We should have read the reviews and avoided. This place was awful, crowded and sticky. Queues of people, limited seating and the drinks all tasted the same. I don’t think there was actually alcohol in our drinks. This was a waste of money, avoid!

-Don’t Go- - We visited here yesterday & truly felt it was a complete waste of money. We have been to a variety of ice bars throughout Europe & this was by far the most disappointing. - The staff were significantly rude & we were asked to leave the ice bar once being allowed in. This was due to no staff on the door explaining that we had to wait in the bar area. We felt it was very unorganized. - When inside the ice bar the time you get allocated was very short & the amount of people they let in made the experience horrendous because you felt cramped & rushed to have your drink. - When we had to queue and wait to go back inside they staff asked me to move down closer to the door, they then went inside & opened the door right onto me hitting my arm and shutting it behind with no apology as they went into the ice bar. Overall we left feeling like this was a waste of money & would hate other people to experience what we did. Apologises for the negetive review but we honestly didn’t have an enjoyable experience.

Don’t believe the hype very disappointing experience - On arrival at the venue we were issued with 3 tickets and a number of rules which completely dampened the experience from the off. We were given 2 silver and 1 bronze colour plastic taken. The bronze token could only be used in the bar before the ice bar and drinks could not be taken into the ice bar, therefore timing was everything unless you were prepared to drink quickly. At our allotted time a guy stood and announced you were now accessing the ice bar, played a video and you could not hear the words. We were then hoarded into an area like cattle and again kept waiting. We were told we would only have 20 minutes in the ice bar and you could only have one glass. If you chose a shot then a beer then you would get a very small beer. When in the ice bar to say it was a let down was an understatement it was a small room with ice in the corners and in the wall. Just more a short photo opportunity. The drinks were poor quality and I found the staff at time rude and I dealt ripped off. My advice to anyone considering a visit, don’t there is some wonderful bars and things to do in Amsterdam without visiting this place.
