Journey back into history with the ‘Anne Frank’s Life in Holland’ tours organised by Historical Netherlands Tours. Immerse yourself in the world of Anne Frank and gain a profound understanding of the incidents, narratives and intentions of World War 2 from a Jewish, Dutch, and German viewpoint.
We will guide you to the locations where Anne Frank resided, had fun and studied before she went into hiding. These sites have preserved their original appearance from her era.
Throughout the tour, you will get to know about the individuals who hid with Anne in the secret annex, those who aided them, and speculate on who might have disclosed their whereabouts. You will gain insights into Dutch resistance fighters and collaborators, acts of bravery and the lack of courage. We will also view the incidents from German eyes. The ultimate question we aim to provoke is: ‘Could such a scenario replay in the current age?’
The first day will be spent in Amsterdam. We’ll either walk or use public transportation if necessary. For the second day, we’ll venture out to Westerbork in a private vehicle, providing pick-up and drop services from your hotel.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
