A captivating treasure hunt in Amsterdam: challenging puzzles and discovering the must-see places - We participated in the treasure hunt in Amsterdam organized by Mystery City, and we had a great time with the family! The experience is perfectly designed to mix exploring the city with solving captivating puzzles. The routes are both challenging and accessible, with well thought-out puzzles that encourage collaboration and arouse our curiosity. We highly recommend this activity, whether with family, friends or even as a couple. It was a unique experience that left us with beautiful memories! Many thanks to Mystery City for this memorable adventure!

Amazing and innovative way to explore the city! - This was such a great experience. Ricky was so helpful and fun. This was a great way to explore the city at your own pace. They even had recommendations for cafes, restaurants and areas along the way to take photos. One of my best experiences in Amsterdam!

Secrets and joys of Amsterdam - We gave the Hunt to our grandson (13) as a part of a day walking, shopping and eating in the City Center for his birthday. We do know Amsterdam very well, as we grew up in Amsterdam and our grandson is born and raised 20 miles from the City. We had a fantastic day. The people at the Headquarters were charming and the decoration of the location provoked the feeling of a voyage of discovery in the past ages. The Hunt is not only a walking tour with the goal to solve the puzzles, but also shows locations, that are not always visited by tour guides. The puzzles are not to be solved immediately and show the involvement of the makers. Our grandson was able to solve the puzzles, however not always easily. At Headquarters they suggested that the tour could take two and half hours, but we did it in five hours, as we enjoyed the city, took it easy, had food and drinks and did some shopping. We strongly recommend the way we followed the Hunt and non-Amsterdammers could select some other places of interest that may be visited while folowing the route. We sincerely granted the Hunt with five stars.

Good fun, brilliant activity - We visited in June 2024 with our 6 month old, we’ve visited the city around 10 times previously and love escape rooms but needed something baby-friendly given a new addition to our family. This was the perfect solution. We did both the Secret Sender and Operation 45 challenges and both were good fun and a great way to see the city and learn a few new facts about Amsterdam. Operation 45 was slightly more challenging in our opinion but both were brilliant. They aren’t as difficult as a traditional escape room but if you’re looking for a way to see the city in a fun way; this ticks the boxes! The team were really friendly and informative - highly recommend!

Great way to discover/re discover amsterdam’ - I had the chance to participate in a team activity organised by Mystery City Game It is a great way to discover ( or rediscover) amsterdam and pay attention to architectural details i had never looked at! The game is really well made, as much for the story as the actual props (which are all made in house btw!) Its not too difficult so you really get to enjoy walking around and discussing the questions, i recommend trying it!
