Recommended tour - The tour was very informative and relaxed, we had enough time to see all the important typical Dutch highlights. Our tour guide was very professional with a lot of knowledge about the places we visited. This is a very highly recommended tour!

Beautiful countryside and villages - Great tour and tour guide. Loved the fishing village. Wish we could have spent more time there because lunch took away from shopping. The windmills were very cool to see as well as learning about how to make cheese and how clogs are made. 6 1/2 hrs was perfect. Bus ride was only 30 mins.

This is a 1/2 day trip in... - This is a 1/2 day trip in the morning and you will see a cheese & shoe making demonstration. Then you have free time to take pictures with the windmills before hoping on a bus to Vollendam, a seaside town where you have 1hr free time.

As expected - Lots of stops with a good tour guide. Comfortable bus. The tour takes longer than it shows on Viator, so don't plan anything afterwards.

It's fine for the price - I will preface my review by saying that since I took the tour, the company has changed the itinerary and dropped one stop (Edam) and changed which cheese shop/dairy farm they visit. So keep that in mind. Overall, this was a pretty average tour: not outstanding but not bad, either. Our guide was fine, but the overall level of commentary throughout the different stops was pretty basic. Our first stop of the tour was at a Henry Zwilling cheese shop for a demonstration that was, quite frankly, very disappointing. The woman from the shop stood around a collection of their equipment and spoke for maybe two minutes before ushering us into the shop to buy cheese. From there we went to Edam, which was a lovely town to walk around. I wish we had had more time there to wander around the town, because it looked charming, but this was a very short stop before moving on to Volendam. We really only stopped at a church and the central square for a few minutes each. In Volendam, we were dropped off at the boardwalk and told we had more than an hour to explore and eat lunch. We didn't get any walking tour/guided experience in Volendam, which would have been nice. As a lunch stop, it was a pretty commercial area, but fine. Our final stop was Zaanse Schans, where it was cool to walk around the windmills, but admission wasn't included with the tour so you had to pay separately if you wanted to go in. All in all, the tour was an OK value, if for no other reason than it got you easy transportation to these three different places. It looks like they've dropped Edam from the itinerary, without a corresponding drop in price, so I'm not sure it's such a value anymore. If you want a quick hit of the Dutch countryside, this is an OK way to do that. If you're looking for a healthy dose of authenticity or in-depth commentary, this might not be for you.

I wouldn't recommend it, sorry! - I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone. Firstly, we were too many people and it was difficult to listen to Eva since she didn't use a voice amplifier when she explained things outside of the bus. As a feedback to your company, you should be more transparent about the languages. Although me and my wife speak good English, we booked the Spanish speaking one and as a customer I would not expect it to be both in English and Spanish. And here is the issue, the guide -Eva- speaks an excellent English, but her Spanish is very broken, to the point that I could barely understand what she meant in Spanish because most of the time was unintelligible. Poor grammar, poor pronunciation and even made up words, for instance, she translated cranes as "cranos", which does not exist in Spanish. Overall, it made it very confused due to her broken Spanish and any person would struggle to follow the explanations in that language. Also, it is very clear that the only purpose of the cheese factory is to sell products, which I did because they were great and I like supporting such family businesses, but at least spend more than five minutes explaining how the factory works. In conclusion, I would not recommend it.
