10/10 way to travel around this beautiful city - An excellent way to see and hear about the sights in this beautiful city. Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly with audio in a large range of languages. Cant wait to travel with you again soon.

Well worth the money and time. - We thoroughly enjoyed both the bus tour and canal tours. The canal tour after sunset is magical. The only small minus was the audio sometimes didn’t correlate well with the locations.

Informative - The tour was very informative. The Gassan diamond tour was amazing. I recommend going in the middle when it’s not crowded so you can have an intermit session. I highly recommend doing this tour.

Hop on and Off - Bus was clean, information on the area was interesting, headphones worked fine, temperature was perfect, driver was friendly and we had no problems with our ticket, route was around Amsterdam so we were kind of outside of the major areas that the tram takes you to. Route could be improved but overall it was great.

Not worth the Money - Worst experience. We have been on least 6 Hop on Hop off tours around the world and generally enjoyed them. This one in Amsterdam was a huge disappointment. After boarding the bus at Stop one, we sat for approximately 15 minutes before departure without explanation from the driver. Once the ride began, the audio was scratchy or blank through most of the first 4 stops. We switched seats in the event it was our outlet, no improvement. Between stop 1-4 only about 4 sentences were uttered that we could discern. Occasionally there would be Christmas music but not history or facts. At stop 4, the bus stopped and the engine was turned off. We were up top with approximately 6 people. No announcements/communication from driver. After approximately 15 minutes my husband went down to the bus driver. Another group of passengers had gone down to check but not returned. My husband was told by the driver that a bus was out of service and it would be a minimum of 15+ more minutes before the tour would start again. We were concerned that we would not make it back for another reservation so we left the bus and walked back to our hotel which took about 25 minutes. I contacted the operator and have not heard back. We were leaving the next morning so no option to try again. Terrible service. I have never left a bad review, ever. This was a complete waste of money for less than 10 minute ride with almost zero content.

Never Again - We have really enjoyed some of these buses eg Florence London and New York. This one is TERRIBLE. There is almost no commentary and the driver spent the whole trip talking so loudly to a colleague that we couldn't hear what commentary there was. This company seem to think this bus is just a means of getting to the next attraction. We spent 15 mins pathed at the diamond factory while the staff chatted and when I asked them what was happening eg are we broken down the response was very offhand. No info no service No more for me

Poor experience would not recommend - It was a terrible experience. First it was very hard to determine where the stops were. The driver a male with red hair and a beard seemed like he hated his job I witnessed him leave an older couple behind who was finishing coffee outside of the bus because you could not bring drinks on the bus. They were in the process of a Driver switch so the bus was sitting idle. He knew they were going to get on the bus because they attempted to get on the bus with their drinks through the back door and he closed the door in their faces. so when it was time for him to pull off and the couple tried to get back on the bus, he just pulled away. I witnessed other passengers on the bus ask him about a location they wanted to get to and he told him he didn’t know anything to look at the map. The commentary on the bus about the city wasn’t very clear. It was very jumbled. Finally, my niece and I got off at stop 6 for the Heineken experience and he let us off on the corner so when we were done there, we went back to the same corner to get on the bus and we saw him stop maybe 600 feet away so we started to run for the bus and he saw us and he pulled away as we were running toward the bus and refused to open the door and let us on. It was a very poor experience for for myself and my niece who were visiting Amsterdam for the first time and knew nothing about how to get around the city. The tour bus driver should realize the only reason he has a job is because of tourism and he should be nicer and more accommodating to people who are visiting the city. I would not recommend taking this hop on and off tour to anyone.
