End of season trip to Keukenhof Gardens - Coach trip from Central Station to Keukenhof Gardens was good. The tulips are almost over but we enjoyed the experience anyway. Sandra the coach driver gave us just the right amount of information and her driving was excellent. Think a week earlier would have been better but at least we got good weather.

A must go to place! - Carli and Anna were perfect hosts with lost of information and the trip was excellent. The keukenhof was stunning!!

Don't Miss the Tulips! - This was just an easy trip that made getting to see the tulips very easy. It surpassed my expectations even though it was early in the season. You can get there by taxi or uber but honestly it was less expensive and the guide we had on the bus was really able to give some great information so we were able to see the entire garden and have lunch all within the time frame given.

Awesome experience! - The tour provider Camelon tours was very accommodating, when we arrived late for our original tour, they were kind enough to book us in a later day trip. That turned out to be great as the weather was beautiful!

Magnificent Keukenhof - The gardens are a marvel to behold. The organization by Camaleón has been perfect due to punctuality and comfort. It is worth highlighting the magnificent attention of the guide, Elisabeth, for the information she gave us during the journey, the resolution of doubts and the perfect entrance to the premises.

Beautiful experience - Beautiful place to take photos and enjoy the variety of flowers, colors and aromas. Our guide was Claudia and she exceeded expectations. He has a way of telling the story that catches you and keeps you interested throughout the entire journey. Very good information and super fluid. I loved it, thank you very much!!

Beautiful tulip gardens but difficult to enjoy with thousands of other visitors. - 4 stars instead of 5 because the tour was almost 1 hr late starting. We were told to meet at 8 AM instead of the originally scheduled 9 AM because of potential traffic problems. Then, the tour bus was almost one he late arriving at the meeting point. On the good side, our guide Elizabeth was simply outstanding. Same for our driver Miguell.

We booked on Kings Day... - We booked on Kings Day which was a mistake. Too many people & keeping up with the tour guide was difficult going from the bus. Hard to understand the guide on the bus even though he had a microphone.

Mis sold trip. - Booked an English speaking tour guide and got bundled into a Spanish group. The guy tried his best but kept saying I don’t know the English expression. Trip advisor mis sold this trip as explicitly English guide. Be aware!

Non-Guided Tour of Keukenhof Gardens - My wife and I, along with our friends found this tour which was described as including transportation to and from Keukenhof gardens by bus, as well as a 45 minute guided tour of the gardens followed by free time to explore the gardens on our own. Our first surprise was that the description of the guides as multilingual actually meant we had two guides, one who spoke English, and the other Spanish. We the spent the first half hour of the bus ride to the gardens listening to Spanish. That was when we discovered that of the 60 tourists on the bus only 6 spoke English and all the rest spoke Spanish. The English speaking guide then gave a 15-20 minute description of Holland history and tulip culture. Needless to say, we would have preferred to hear only English during our ride as we didn’t understand anything said during the first half hour. When we arrived at the park our second surprise was that there was no guided tour to the various areas of the gardens describing the various features of the gardens, the not-to-be-missed sights and the history and significance of the gardens. Instead the English speaking guide gave us our tickets and told us to be back a the entrance at the appointed time. When we asked about the guided tour, she said she wasn’t aware that we were supposed to have a tour of the gardens. She kindly led us to one of the main buildings, and apologized that she was not able to guide us further. The gardens were incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed our visit and the areas we wandered through, but we felt like we missed many things that could have been pointed out in the guided tour that we had been promised. On the way back, the English guide spoke first and described many things about Dutch attempts to have tulip bulb growing done organically, to avoid the pesticides that are currently being used, and also gave us. Interesting information about Holland in general, doing her best to make up for our earlier disappointment. The remainder of the ride we heard only Spanish. I felt sorry for our English speaking guide because the company organizing the tour had misrepresented it so that she was put in the difficult position of trying to make up for the misinformation in the online description of the tour. I am hoping that this review might encourage the company or Viator to revise the tour description, or if not, that it will warn those who consider this tour that it does not provide a guided tour in the gardens. If you want such a tour, go to the Keukenhof website and you can reserve a 45 minute English tour with a trained garden guide. I wish we had done that!
