• Rotterdam Centraal Station - Your guide will meet you at Rotterdam Centraal Station, the city’s modern train hub where 170,000 people pass through daily. The tour begins here.
• Groothandelsgebouwen N.V. - Just outside the station, you’ll see the Groothandelsgebouw, once Europe’s largest building when it opened in 1949, symbolizing Rotterdam’s post-war reconstruction.
• Hofplein - This seemingly ordinary roundabout holds a special, almost spiritual significance for Rotterdam locals, largely due to its connection with football.
• City Hall Rotterdam - Discover one of the few buildings that survived the war: the town hall. Learn about the statues adorning it.
• Timmerhuis - OMA - The Timmerhuis, which managed the city’s post-war reconstruction, embodies Rotterdam’s blend of old and new architecture.
• Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk - Near the modern Market Hall stands a 14th-century church whose tower survived the bombings. Now an event venue, you’ll learn about its history and Erasmus, who was born here.
• Markthal - This iconic building houses apartments and a variety of international foods. Inside, admire one of the world’s largest artworks and taste some Dutch cheese.
• Cube Houses - Walk under and explore the unique cube houses, discovering what it’s like to live in one.
• Willemsbrug - Head towards the Maas River near the red bridge, a site of heavy fighting in May 1940. Enjoy views of Rotterdam’s skyline and the river’s opposite bank.
• Boompjeskade - Board a water taxi for a 45-minute tour of the Maas River, taking in the skyline and part of Rotterdam’s port.
• Old Harbour - Enter the Old Harbour area, where Rotterdam’s port began in the 15th century. Today, it’s a lively spot for drinks and viewing restored ships.
• Witte Huis - See the Witte Huis, Europe’s oldest skyscraper from 1898, and learn about its significance and the remnants of German bullet holes.

• Vrienden van de Synagoge Delft - Pass by Delft’s old neo-classicist synagogue on the way to Beestenmarkt square.
• Maria van Jessekerk - Visit Delft’s newest church, a 150-year-old Catholic church with two distinct towers.
• Beestenmarkt - Stop for lunch at Beestenmarkt, a popular square that was once an animal trading market.
• Nieuwe Kerk - See the Netherlands’ second-highest church tower and the royal family’s burial site. Learn about its history and climb the 370-step tower if you wish.
• Stadhuis van Delft (City Hall Delft) - Walk by Delft’s historic town hall as we leave Markt square, and learn about its significance.
• Old Church - Visit the Old Church with its leaning tower, where Johannes Vermeer is buried. Discover why the tower leans.
• Museum Prinsenhof Delft - Opposite the Old Church, explore the Prinsenhof, a former monastery where the Father of the Fatherland was assassinated in 1584.
• Gemeenlandshuis van Delfland - See Delft’s oldest house with its ornate facade, home to the Water Board since 1645, and learn about its importance.
• Markt - Return to the central Markt square, where an electric tuktuk will take us to the Royal Delft Museum.
• Royal Delft - Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles - Visit the only remaining original Delft Blue pottery factory from 1653. Enjoy an audio tour of the museum and factory, shop, and café before a tuktuk returns you to Delft.
