A really interesting museum - Fascinating, thought provoking, moving, interesting, well organised. A must do for Amsterdam - behind the scenes and an appreciation for the women who work in the sex industry.

The women from the red district - I learned a lot of those women working there. Some by chance or by choice and also by power n control. It was a sad story but it happens all the time.

Interesting and informative - A really interesting insight into the history and life of workers within the red light district. Very immersive, informative and engaging, and I particularly enjoyed the audio component. It is a small place, which was only an issue when it became a little crowded - as then it was cramped and difficult to move around.

Very enjoyable, interesting and informative! - Very enjoyable experience! We went to the museum in the middle of the day, it was reasonably busy but the flow of people meant that the were times you were on your own in rooms. The museum is in the red light district, the audio guide talks about prostitution in Amsterdam and what it’s like - good and bad. It’s the closest you’ll get to seeing what it’s like behind the doors without actually going in….youll see what it’s like sitting in the windows and what the bedroom/bath rooms are like. It talks about the different experience of women and some men and the history of the area and the way the government handles the topic and attempts to keep workers safe. It’s not a huge museum, maybe spend 30 mins walking around and listening to the audio guide. Throughly enjoyed - just keep in mind you do walk past the active windows and enter the district itself to enter the museum, if that’s not for you I’d recommend the sex museum!

Interesting & engaging - This museum is one of the better ones. It helps gives you perspective on what the red light rooms look like and what the workers go through. Compared to other museums in dam, i found this one much more engaging and interesting. It’s right on the red light too so when you come out it’s mad to think what’s going on around you. It’s fairly cheap too i think, very reasonably priced. Defo try this one out!!

Not recommending this tour - This tour is not worth going on. Its just an audio tour where one listens to a girls story , nothing new. 15 min max . is all that you can spend here.

Cramped and expensive - An interesting exhibit, the audio guide with the stories was fascinating. I will say this, it's very cramped, very short and expensive for what it was.
