Very Good - Rembrandt experience was well worth the visit. Use my "I amsterdam" card for entry. Good system for coats and lockers, audio available and staff more than helpful and friendly. The exhibition itself is very educational and well presented and laid out. Shop very reasonable for souvenirs.

Excellent experience - Some of the reviews have not expressed how well done this program is. It was a great way to learn about Rembrandt and his family and times. The show is very well done. The staff were very nice and personable. Great !

Great experience, to do! - Great welcome, very original visit. To do absolutely especially with children able to understand... We visited my daughter and me alone around 6pm. TOP! Thank you.

Mind opening, history and cool - Loved it. I love history so getting to learnt about how rembrandt came to be was cool. They give you an audio machine which tells you about each of the rooms. One downside is there are a lot of steps so only go if you can go up. Also the audio gets confusing as the rooms don't align. Would go again as there is a lot of information to take in.

Great Learning Experience - Fascinating insight into the life of Rembrandt. The museum takes on a journey of highs and lows but leaves you feeling nothing but admiration for this remarkable artist.

Great! - This was a beautiful experience indeed, the museum was so captivating, and you can have an immersive guide with the toured version where they hand you the devices with explanation. The narrator is very clear and you can look into how these people used to live and how many of his portraits were made from how the paints are made to how sketches are done.

Disappointment - This was a very disappointing experience for us. Since we have visited the Rembrandt house before and several times The Rijksmuseum this was for no new information. It was well worded and the performance was nice but very short for what you pay. I think if you come as a tourist without having any idea about the background of who or what Rembrandt is then it is very nice. But for us, unfortunately, it was nothing.

Lots of hype and no 5D - We thought this might be excited because of the 5D hype. But that was a joke. You basically sit in two rooms that are wall-to-wall video screens and listen to voice over narration about the artist. The seats rumble a little bit at one point but other than that it's strictly 2D. The AI generated Rembrandt portraits of yourself are kind of fun if you want to spend an extra 10 euros

Avoid this tourist trap! - It is a disappointing storytelling about Rembrandt. Waste of money for just 25 minutes. You won’t see anything from Rembrandt, it is just like a kind of tike machine that tells you a bit of history. I strongly recommend you to visit Rembrandt House, which is the original house where he lived and worked and has original work. But avoid this tourist trap at all cost despite the very kind and helpful staff members.
