Best Experience, and Tour Guide Ever - I have never been one to invest my time into the arts. And I’m truly sorry that I haven’t up until now. I had the opportunity to go to the Van Gogh Museum, and Geneviève was our tour guide. Even with my lack of education on Van Gogh, I left the museum feeling so educated on every part of Van Gogh’s life. Geneviève had such a beautiful way with her words, and kept you on track and focused on what we were looking at. Even with how busy the museum is, she kept my attention the WHOLE time. I didn’t check my phone once, aside from taking photos. Geneviève was kind, patient, so passionate about art, and always offered to take a photo of you in front of your favorite piece. I couldn’t suggest this tour more to anyone in the area, I think it is absolutely worth the money and I would come back the next time I was in town.

Great morning with Genevieve and Van Gogh! - Genevieve was a delightful, personable, knowledgeable guide. She gave us a lot of background information as well as close up views of a number of Van Gogh’s signature works, helping us understand his development as an artist and the trials and troubles in his life. Her pacing was good, her manner gracious, and she encouraged us to ask questions or make comments. At the end, she also encouraged us, if we had time, to view the special exhibit of work by Mathew Wong, which in some ways parallels Van Gogh, and I very much enjoyed it.

Ask for Genevieve! - The Van Gogh museum is truly a “must visit” in the Netherlands. A private tour is, of course, the very best way to see it. Our wonderful guide, Genevieve, from LovingVincentTours, was a perfect escort and teacher. Her background in art history and her work as an artist herself was clearly evident in her descriptions of Van Goghs’ works. Although my wife and I knew some history of Van Gogh, Genevieve brought him to life before our eyes and gave us a new perspective and appreciation of this great artist and his turbulent life. The museum was very busy, but Genevieve was very adept at winding us through all of the others and making us feel as though we had the museum to ourselves. Kudos to her, and we can’t recommend her private tour enough.

Wonderfully engaging tour! - My family and I had a truly great time. Geneviève, our bright and personable guide, engaged with us as individuals and structured the tour intelligently around a dozen or so key works, so that after our tour we were able to revisit the collection and contextualize the artist’s evolution around the difficult events of his life. Highly recommended!
