Terrific tour! - Our tour led by Diana was awesome! On the way via train and a walk and as she guided us around the wonderful Zaanse Schans, she shared interesting historical information, took pictures of us, and was able to beat the crowds. We loved seeing the old windmills and the presentations for making wooden shoes and cheese. Diana was very friendly before, during, and after the tour, gladly answering any questions I had. Highly recommend this tour!

Highlight of trip to Amsterdam - Tour guide Diana made this visit to Zaanse Schans the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. She was friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable of the local area and made sure that everyone in the group had their individual interests met. Although there were large bus tours also visiting the village Diana knew how to avoid the crowds while visiting the cheese and clog factories. After an informative tour we were able to browse the area at our leisure and were given simple instructions on how to return to Amsterdam city centre. I would definitely recommend this tour if visiting Amsterdam.

Fun and worth the travel to the area - Diana was very well-informed and excited to share her knowledge of the area. It was a beautiful town and we saw lots of windmills. The demos of the cheese and clogs were fun and she made sure to get us front row seats to both despite the crowds. Thank you Diana.

Diana is a fabulous tour guide - Diana was terrific. You definitely need to go early in the morning. Cruise ship groups swamp this area very quickly.
Diana knew how to beat the crowds and make it a great experience.

Nice experience - Awesome tour. Diana (tour guide) was very helpful to all of us and gave us an amazing experience at Zaanse Schans. She gives you all the information to go back to Amsterdam by train by ourselves with the tickets that she bought.

Wonderful tour - Our tour guide, Diana, helped to make this tour special. It was not a tour bus tour, it was smaller and we used the train for transport. Therefore, it was more efficient and felt more personal. Diana knew how to help us avoid large crowds and kept things flowing at a good pace. The town is lovely- definitely a tourist stop, but still quaint and a good breather outside the city of Amsterdam. The history is interesting and the shops were cute but crowded. Overall, we did really enjoy it and were very glad we chose Diana’s tour!

Great walking tour - Diana, was knowledgeable about the Zaanse Schans area and the windmills, cheese factory and wooden shoe factory. We had an issue with the train being cancelled at the beginning of the tour and she was able to quickly work around this and provide us a great tour as planned. She was also very kind and helpful during the tour.
