Do you want to whale watch or do you want an ADVENTURE? - What a fantastic trip with Captain Tyler and our naturalist, Brooke. Their boat is fast and fun (but be sure to dress warm). There is no bad seat and the small group size saves you from feeling crammed onto a bigger boat. We had plenty of time with the whales but were also shown so much more beauty the Salish Sea has to offer including seals, sea lions, sea birds and other species of whales. We even saw several lighthouses! Our captain and naturalist were very knowledgable and they make you feel like a friend, not a client. Anacortes is easy to access from major cities like Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellingham and parking was no problem. If you want to experience the wildlife of Washington or even if you just like fast boats this is a must do trip!

Always a wonderful experience! - Fantastic experience! Captain Tyler & crew are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, the cruiser suits are comfortable and keep you warm and dry even on a drizzly PNW day. We stopped right out of the harbor to spend time with some harbor porpoise, which was a real treat for me, and they really took the time to make sure the guests got to see what they were hoping for!

You Won't Regret It! - I booked this excursion as a solo adventure. It was well worth the money and I would do it again in a heartbeat!! The staff was excellent; they even called to check up as I was running a few minutes later than the time I was supposed to be there. They also were very friendly and knowledgeable about the whales we spotted and their histories. They took the time to make sure we saw a sufficient amount of wildlife. It took awhile to see some whales but once we did, we seen a decent amount. We ended up seeing about 7 whales and learned about each of them as we were watching them. The coolest part was at one point, when we saw one group of whales, they got SO close that they actually came up one side of our boat then swam under our boat and popped up on the other side of us!!!! Additionally, I was also extremely glad I chose this specific option over other options, as it was on the smaller (zodiac?) type boat, which made the whole experience much more personal and enjoyable. There only ended up being me and about 5 other people on the boat compared to another company's boat we encountered that had about 30-40 people on it! A big surprise was during the last part of our boat ride, we went and boated through Deception Pass park and right under the bridge. This was another thing on my Washington bucket list, so I was glad to check off two fun things! :)

Friendly and professional - Tyler found us several whales and Lucy was a wealth of knowledge about all the animals we saw, porpoises, whales, seals, sea lions. We had to cancel our original trip due to a rare August lightening storm. They were more than accommodating getting us rebooked. The vessel is super fun too, adding to the experience. A great boat for someone prone to sea sickness. Thank you for a memorable trip!

Blue Kingdom Whale tours gets you to where the whales are! - The Blue Kingdom Whale tour was super. As a professional wildlife photographer, it's important I find the animals and get as close to them as possible without disturbing their activity in their natural environment. The Blue Kingdom RIB is perfect because it is low to the water, one of the fastest boats in the Puget Sound, and a cooperative and knowledgeable skipper and naturalist. They flew low and fast through the San Juans, almost 85 miles round trip, to find us the Orcas. We were able to stay with them for about an hour of shooting. Well done day!
