Crowded House tours a great choice to visit Gallipoli. - Our guide ‘Charlie’ ( obviously not his Turkish name - but the equivalent), was both inclusive and a font of knowledge on all things Gallipoli. His English is excellent and he used examples to help us understand the why’s and wherefores of how, why and where the battles were fought. He was clear in his instructions when we were given time to explore on our own and to return to the van. The lunch at the restaurant was a good choice for the different nationalities that were on the tour. Tasty and sufficient. Soup, followed by chicken kebabs, rissoles, salad and fries. Then a mandarin to finish. The pickup and drop off to our respective hotels was convenient and efficient. .. thanks to our respective drivers. All in all I would recommend Crowded house tours to anyone intending to visit Gallipoli.

Thorough tour - My daughter and I had one day to view and experience the Gallipoli Peninsula so we booked a tour with Crowded House. Hamas was our guide and he couldn’t have taken us on a more thorough tour if he tried. He had incredible knowledge on the classic stories from WW1 but he also retold more niche ones that we hadn’t heard before. 10/10 experience with the ease of an AC sprinter van, door to door service and effortless timing of the whole day.

Compelling and informative tour les by super fun and knowledgeable guide Burak - Growing up in America, didnt know much about the history of Gallipoli but after the trip we had learned and understood why it is a sacred place for Australians in New Zealanders as their fighters died during the nine month failed attempt to control the dardanelles.

Hightly recommended tour not to be missed - Simply outstanding. Bought the history of Gallipoli and the scale of the conflict to life. Our guide (Ibrahim) knowledge of dates, times, sites, events and major turning points from both an Australian & Turkish context was very insightful. Highly recommended tour not to be missed!

Excellent tour, and good value for money - I got the tour from Çanakkale, and we got the ferry with our guide Burak to Eceabat on the other side, where we joined up with a larger group for lunch. After lunch we were split into groups to get on minibuses, which for us meant our group from Çanakkale got on one bus together. A precious reviewer mentioned being split up from people they’d met at the start at this point, so it’s good to see that the tour company seemed to have taken this on board and kept our little group together. We stayed with our guide Burak for the rest of the tour as well which was good. The tour itself involved about 8 steps at various key sites, mostly related to the ANZAC and Turkish parts but there were also some parts relevant to British involvement in the battle. Burak was really engaging, and has been doing this for quite a few years, which really showed as he knew his stuff and seemed to know several historians of the battle personally. I think he was good at pitching the information to what people already knew, and I was particularly impressed that he took the time to get some specific information about a family member of one of the group, who had died in the battle. At the end of the tour we were taken back over on the ferry to Çanakkale where the tour finished. Overall, really worth the money and very interesting and well delivered your. Thoroughly recommended!
