The car will travel through Tbilisi, heading north for 160 km to Kazbegi. The first stop is Jinvali Lake and the Ananuri Fortress complex. Ananuri was a castle of the eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi and is on the tentative list for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage Site program. The second stop offers breathtaking views from the top of Jvari Pass. The road then descends into the valley and enters Kazbegi. The main highlight of the Kazbegi tour is the Gergeti Trinity Church, located on a mountain at an elevation of 2,170 meters. The Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century. From the center of Kazbegi, the car will embark on a short off-road journey to the Gergeti Trinity Church.
The final destination of the tour is the village of Juta, the second-highest village on the European continent. In Juta, you will enjoy a horse ride to Chaukhi Pass, where you can see a lake beneath the Chaukhi mountain massif. The return journey will start at your request, with an option to stop for lunch in Kazbegi before continuing back to Tbilisi.
