Your first taste of Alaska’s beauty will be the stunning drive along the Seward Highway and Turnagain Arm, with a few pit-stops at Beluga Point and Bird Point for sightseeing. Upon reaching the Portage Valley, our itinerary includes stops at Explorer Glacier, Middle Glacier and a spectacular one-hour cruise on Portage Lake on the M/V Ptarmigan. This cruise allows you to admire the glaciers nearby and dramatic landscapes, with Portage Glacier as the main sight. Following the cruise, there is an optional lunch break before we move on to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Your tour guide will walk you through the 200 acre facility where you are guaranteed to witness Alaska’s terrestrial mammals in their native environments and much more! The trip concludes with a drive back, pausing briefly at Falls Creek, before dropping you off at your preferred location in Anchorage.
