Sweet Chocolate and Wine! - I enjoyed this experience a lot because, chocolate! wine! How can you go wrong? Chocolate is one of my favorite food groups but I don't normally drink. Somehow I just felt like throwing caution to the winds. Chris drove us to a local business that creates chocolate and provides tasting experiences. It was a place I'd never have found on my own even though I live locally. Tasting a few different types of chocolate while rating them was surprisingly fun. Then the wine place! There was a small seating area with a nice electric fire to sit beside and the owner provided a wine menu from which you could choose up to 6 different wines. I enjoyed hearing other people's choices. I love sweet flavors so I choose the berry wines and a couple of ports. The servings are small and there were pieces of chocolate from the previous chocolate place to enjoy between sips. It was very relaxing. The owner is friendly and responsive to questions. You can tell she knows her stuff. She steered me right when I told her the flavor types I like. Extremely nice wine! Chris gave a good tour with comments and stories. I think this would be good for small celebrations or relaxing parties. Recommended.

From velvety dark chocolates to rich red wines, every pairing was a delight for the senses. The knowledgeable guide shared fascinating insights, making each stop more than just a tasting, but a journey into the world of artisanal craftsmanship. A perfect blend of sophistication and indulgence, this tour is a must for any food and wine enthusiast. 5 stars! 🍫🍷

Expecting much more - The description was misleading when we arrived at the first stop to sample the chocolates we didn't experience making chocolate nor a rich history from the chocolatiers about how the chocolate was made. We each received three samples but had to ask for any additional. And then had to purchase our own chocolate bars. For $109 we should have each been able to get at least one complimentary bar to take with us. Second stop was the wine bar right down the street maybe five minutes away. We didn't receive a curated presentation about the wines. We were given a listing of the wines to select five and they were brought to us for tasting. Granted the wines were good but the 5 wine flights were only $25, we should have received the first flight of five and a second flight of three. The guide was nice and took us around a little however we could have gone to the chocolate store on our own and to wine bar for much less and spend maybe a total of $35 for a wine flight and a chocolate bar. It was over priced and we were all expecting a little more for the cost.
