• Beluga Point - Beluga Point Site is an archaeological site along Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1978. Artifacts found here indicate early human settlement. Beluga Point North 1 (BPN1) artifacts date back 8,000–10,000 years and are considered evidence of the oldest habitation in the Anchorage area. Beluga Point is also a prime spot for wildlife observation. Beluga whales can be seen from July to August as they gather in Cook Inlet to feast on the Pacific salmon run.

• Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - The AWCC rescues injured and orphaned animals throughout the year, offering them spacious habitats and excellent care. Visitors can observe and photograph Alaska’s iconic animals up close, which cannot be released back into the wild.
