Porter Glacier - leaving from Anchorage took us about 1 1/2 - 2 hours driving, our tour guide stops on the most incredible views trough out the road to the Portage Glacier while there a boat took us right in front of the glacier while you there you can walk around and or go to the top deck of the boat that was a great tour if you got chance is 100% recommended.

Once in a Lifetime Experience - This was our first visit to Alaska and this tour exceeded all expectations we ever had of Alaska. Our guide Christina was very knowledgeable and congenial. The scenery was magnificent along Turnagain Arm. It’s impossible to describe how beautiful the drive was to Portage Glacer. Seward Highway is one of the most beautiful in the world. The wildlife refuge was very interesting and provided a chance to see a variety of animals up close. If you only take one tour in Anchorage, it should be this one.

Spectacular Scenery and Great Guide! - Christina was very knowledgeable about the area and was constantly on the lookout for wildlife. She made the experience so much fun! The scenery is so spectacular and she took us to a couple extra spots to get some additional lakeside photos and allowed my kids to skip stones on the lake. The Wildlife Conservation Center is incredible! The young black bear that is in front when you park is so much fun to watch! We also got to see a brown bear playing and swimming in its pond. Thanks for helping make our trip incredible!

Well worth the time and money! - We had the absolute best day with Matt! The drive and views were outstanding. It was a small group of six plus Matt and his daughter (who is delightful). It was just the most relaxed, chill day in which we got to see some stunning scenery. We did get to do the boat ride at Portage Glacier which was so cool. Just amazing to see the glacier that closely. We did a little hike to see the most beautiful waterfall. We stopped at the Wildlife Conservation Center which was cool to see. We really enjoyed Matt's low key, but extremely knowledgeable style. The entire rest of our trip we kept referring back to this day saying "when we were with our friend, Matt, he told us....". Highly recommend this tour. We did this on the day before out cruise tour, and it was a great introduction to Alaska. Thanks Matt!
