- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains….
- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains. Time permitting, we will make a stop.
- Bird Creek - We drive over this famous fishing creek, and if the right time of season, might see fisherman lined along the banks hoping to catch Silver salmon.
- Explorer Glacier - Weather permitting, we might spot some hanging valley glaciers in the mountaintops on our drive at the end of the Turnagain Arm!
- Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Our main attraction is the amazing non-profit wildlife sanctuary that has rehabilitated & provided a forever-home for some injured & orphaned wild Alaska animals. We will spend approximately 1.5+ hours at the center. Half will be guided & half will be free time to explore on your own.

A picturesque drive along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet will offer you breathtaking views while en route to one of the best attractions in southcentral Alaska - the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center! We will guide you through this wildlife sanctuary while sharing about the injured and orphaned wild animals in their care; you’ll also have some free time to walk around on your own. This trip is approximately one hour each way to the wildlife center with approximately 1.5-2 hours at the center itself, totaling a 4-hour educational tour with spectacular scenery the whole way!

Meet at the corner of 7th Avenue & F Street at the Dena'ina Convention Center in downtown Anchorage. There are no public restrooms here. Pickups begin 20-40 minutes before tour departure; please confirm with us 1-2 days in advance of your tour with us for your specific pickup time.

A wonderful tour with a variety of great experiences along the way. - We did this tour yesterday and it is one of the best we have taken in our trip around Alaska. David is an excellent and enthusiastic guide with a vast and varied knowledge of all things associated with this beautiful state. He packed in so much during our 5 hour trip from riding up the Alyeska cable car, seeing the salmon spawn on the creek, viewing the middle glacier and lake, and visiting the wonderful Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and pointing out so many interesting things as we traversed the Seward Highway. We would thoroughly recommend his company and would definitely book another tour with him when we return in the future.

Wonderful Experience - Listening to David’s commentary throughout the trip. His personal stories and knowledge added a lot. Also, being able to see some of the Alaskan wildlife up close. I had no idea there were bison in Alaska. I had been in Alaska and finally got to see a moose!

Awesome wildlife tour - This was a last minute decision to do the tour but so glad we did. Our tour guide David was fantastic, he was on time and very informative. We were lucky enough to see Beluga Whales in the Turnagain Arm. The wildlife centre was everything we hoped it would be. It was great to see what this centre are doing for sick and injured wildlife. We also had a brief stop at the Explorer Glacier. We would highly recommend this tour.

Outstanding tour by Frontier Tours - This is the best tour I have ever taken in my 76 years. David was an outstanding guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, had a good professional manner and made everyone have a good time. He explained things in a manner that all could just understand. He put in humorous and explanatory stories at times. He took extra stops to make it more interesting. He seemed to really enjoy guiding the tour. Loved the activity and the tour!

Wildlife rescue tour - We had an awesome experience. David was a great guide. The highway was very scenic and we stopped at some great places on the way up and back including a glacier made lake and river with spawning salmon. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. The wildlife rescue was great and we saw many animals such as bears, caribou, and music. I highly recommend this tour.
