Super tour made special by Mbaisha - Mbaisha our amazing personal tour guide made this experience one to remember! She was super friendly, charismatic and informative over the duration of our afternoon. We were so fortunate to have Mbaishas undivided accompaniment as a couple and really enjoyed hearing all the stories about the various stops along the way ! We had 6 wonderful food stops all uniquely different and tasty delights hosted by each venue . Manchester is a proud and historic city and this shone through from our guide ( who isn’t even from Lancashire 😂 … Huddersfield and Yorkshire loyalties came through and rightly so ! ) . Really a tour not to miss and look out for the parrots 😝 Thanks again Mbaisha and we both wish you every success in your future food ventures and we will be looking out for your foody van 🚐!! Good luck as always …

Eat your way through Manchester - What a great way to see the sights of Manchester and learn about its history by sampling some of the city’s local cuisine. The tour started in the Ancoats district with its beautiful refurbished mills along one of the many canals that cross the city. We drank soup at the old mill, enjoyed a delicious pain au chocolat, sampled a local drink whilst admiring the local architecture. Then we walked towards the Northern Quarters to sample a charcuterie board of locally made sausages and cheeses, learning about Tib Streets locals and quirky history. A short walk past the old Fish Market for a slice of pizza, then onto a small little Indian restaurant with amazing curries and our final destination, for ice cream. Liv, our tour guide was welcoming, thoughtful and full of knowledge about the area , urban myth characters and legends.

Best food tour of Manchester UK - I came from the USA and James was absolutely delightful! The others scheduled for this tour canceled but James showed up and said let's just proceed anyway. Very professional! Had a lot of fun walking the city, great food vendors, and drink options too. I would say it was the best food tour I've ever had. What a beautiful city. You simply must give Manchester Bites a try!

Great guide! - This tour helped us feel connected to the history and culture of Manchester in a way that other tour spots didn't achieve. Our August 1st tour was just our guide and the three adults in our party. He did a wonderful job of balancing history, current trends, and city planning....and he fed us! We came away feeling like we understood how Manchester fits into history and how it thrives today. Every food item was savored and we wanted to head back after our tour for more exploration. Now that we're back home, this tour is a curiosity for friends and family who ask about our trip. We did another food tour later on our vacation but it wasn't nearly as good. Manchester food tour was perfect, and clearly the gold standard to compare other food tours with.
