Brilliant Sri Lankan cuisine cooking class with Piumi - We really enjoyed our cooking class with Piumi, using authentic Sri Lankan recipes and techniques to cook 8 or so veggie curries, plus rotis. Piumi was a brilliant teacher and the dishes were delicious! Fully recommended.

Great class - We had a great time in Piumi's class, learning to cook so many of the dishes we have enjoyed during our stay in Sri Lanka. Her family were very welcoming from the start, her father came to meet us at the road before she welcomed us into their lovely home. We went through all the key spices before picking out the vegetables we wanted to try, and got straight into preparing them for cooking. Although a lot goes into the preparation, we were pleasantly surprised with how simple the dishes are to cook (although grateful the recipes will be shared after to remember all the spices!). The smells in the kitchen soon became so good that we couldn't wait for the feast afterwards. We will definitely be taking what we learnt to our kitchen at home. Many thanks again!

10 Amazing Curries! - Authentic and educational cooking class! Susantha and Piumi welcomed me to their home with coffee and cookies before cooking, and during the experience I learned all the ingredients and instructions to make 10 (!) different curries. The food was delicious and it was a very memorable experience. They also have a sweet pup who kept us company.

Colombo Cooking Class in Home - Fantastic cooking class with Piumi in her home. Very responsive on WhatsApp prior. We cooked many different vege curries, chicken curry, coconut sambal, dahl and coconut roti, and made coconut milk from scratch. All delicious. Would recommend

Cultural Cookery Experience - We spent a wonderful morning at this great cooking class. Our hosts (and lovely dog, Pafuu) were so welcoming and it was really interesting to see how they lived as a family. We all had different favourite dishes as we had made 10 different versions. Highly recommend !

Sri Lankan cooking in a homely comfortable environment - We did this class on the 1st day of out holiday. I say class but it was the host teaching myself and my wife. We got an Uber from our hotel and we were greeted with a cup of tea and a tea biscuit. First off we went through the vegetables herbs and spices we would be using. Most of them I knew from previous Indian cooking. We then made Coconut milk from whole coconuts. The meal plan was 6 curries a potatoe dish, rice and coconut sambo. This took a full 2 hours to complete, it was all hands on but grandma took over our coconut grinding as she thought we were too slow. We then tried all of our curries, while we were doing this our host and grandma made us a local pancake sweet for after. Really enjoyed it and they emailed us the recipes when we got home

Best cooking expression in Sri Lanka, highly recommend - Amazing cooking experience, we learned so much about Sri Lankan traditional dishes, and how to make them. Few different curries, coconut sambal, we learned how to make coconut milk. Incredibly kind chef and family! We loved it

Perfect moment - We had a fabulous time at Piumi! Her husband and dad are also adorable (and so is her dog!) We cooked and learned many things. Then we had the pleasure of tasting what we did! They were very caring with us, we were very comfortable at home. We recommend this activity 100%!

Best authentic experience in Colombo - This experience was top notch. I learned so much about Sri Lankan home cooking and also about the warmth and hospitality of the Sri Lankan people. The family welcomed me into their home, taught me how to cook and then we shared an amazing meal. Do not miss!
