Great Angra tour led by Rui - A great tour of Angra, led by Rui Mendes who was a truly excellent guide. He knew so much of local and national history and culture. He was personable, funny and very easy to talk to and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. His English was also excellent.

A walk through a beautiful town - Beautiful tour. Well informed guide gave a history lesson we enjoyed very much. Tour does require walking up steep steps and a hill but the views are worth every step.

Wonderful Tour: Informative and engaging - Our tour guide, Rui, did a great job explaining the history and culture of the city. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all of our questions. He set a perfect pace for us on this walking tour. We saw historic buildings, a local market, famous statues, art, churches. He described local customs and entertainment. We ended the tour with a much better appreciation for the city and its people. Thank you, Rui!

Great and reliable Company! - We used Spot Tourism for several of our transfers, as well as a tour. They were always on time, very communicative, and had great and friendly people. Our tour guide Debora, who guided us through the streets of Angra do Heroismo was fantastic. We highly recommend them (PS--we loved Terceira!)

Great walking tour - Pedro Silva was our English speaking guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He picked us up from the hotel on time and gave us an excellent tour with details on Terceira island history. He answered all our questions and helped with restaurant reservations for our group of 6 people. Thank you Pedro ! We hope to see you again during our next Azores trip.

Focus on Central Angra - Great access to historic Angra City Hall and classic Theatre. Toured the Duke’s Garden and waterfront. Good discussion of historical perspective, Vasco da Gama interaction in Angra. Plus, good tips for pastries, restaurants and local embroidery shops.

A very basic and expensive walk - Our tour was scheduled for 2 pm and the agency sent us someone at 3:30 pm. No one came to pick us up and the whole tour was done by foot. It consisted basically in going up the garden then back down to the harbour front. No visit of Monte Brasil, Palace of The Captains, Igreja da misericórdia, no Câmara municipal, no Forno pastelaria. The guide did offer some interesting insights and comments but it was actually a Monday and an island holiday so everything was closed. All she could do was stand in front of the monuments and give details about places we were advised to visit afterwards. No compensation was offered for the delay or the closed places and we paid the full price (40 €) for a simple walk in front of a closed city. I do not recommend this tour or this agency.
