• Lagoa Das Patas - The Lagoa das Patas [Duck Lake] Forest Reserve is in the interior of Terceira Island and gets its name from a beautiful artificial lake, fed by the water flowing from the Serra de Santa Bárbara range. The lake is surrounded by azaleas, hydrangeas and other bushes and trees. A recreational park was created from a small wood of Japanese red cedar, so that visitors can enjoy the spot in comfort.
