Climb aboard a Utility Task Vehicle, a 4x4 off-road vehicle that offers greater comfort and safety than an ATV equipped with an automatic transmission. This side-by-side vehicle allows you to bring a friend and get along during the tour.
Be the driver of your own adventure. Take the wheel while the guide leads the way.

UTV riding in rural parts - The UTV was a perfect way to explore Terceira. We went to beautiful parts of the island that we wouldn’t have seen. Easy to drive. We didn’t even. Mind getting covered in red dust. Great fun!

Get dirty and have a great time! - This tour lets you see Terceira in a way most people never will! We rode through all types of terrain to get stunning views of this beautiful island, and were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of 3 other Azores islands as well. The guides and service were also superb and they went above and beyond.

Great kid friendly family adventure - Super fun! Went with our 2 kids (9/12), great familiy adventure seeing the west side of the island. Organizers were super friendly, attentive, positive and professional. Just the right amount of time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic and different experience to discover the third island! - We, family of 4 with two boys 14 and 17, had a fantastic time! The two seater, automatic, buggy’s were very easy to drive. We discovered the western part of the island, off the beaten track through fantastic nature, beautiful forests and stunning views. Three stops during the three hour trip. We’d highly recommend this as another way to experience Terceira!

Island Thrills on Four Wheels - If you’re looking for an adventure that take you through the stunning landscapes of Terciera, then put on your sunglasses and prepare for the ride of a lifetime! The 3-hour ATV tour is a fun ride through the island’s west and central parts.
Starting off on paved roads, you might be lulled into a false sense of security. Don’t be fooled. After a stop at a local cheese factory to sample local cheeses, this tour quickly takes a turn for the thrilling as you leave the smooth asphalt behind and dive into the heart of Terciera on dirt roads and trails that seem better suited for mountain goats than vehicles.
Pro tip: Leave your Sunday best at home because by the end of the tour, you’ll be sporting a tan—dirt tan, that is. But trust me, you won’t care. The views are spectacular, the ride is exhilarating, and the memories are worth every speck of dirt.
