• Miradouro Janela da Ribeirinha - We’ll have several chances to enjoy the view over Angra do Heroísmo in these viewpoints.
• Algar do Carvao - Oportunity to visit a unique geological formation. One of the few empty volcanos in the world that we can visit the inside!

This excursion explores the diverse landscapes of Terceira Island from its unpaved inner trails, showcasing the abundant biodiversity of the Azores.

We begin our journey by congregating in the hotel lobby, then make our way to Monte Brasil, providing us a panoramic vantage point over Angra do Heroísmo.

Subsequently, we navigate through the rugged paths of Serra da Ribeirinha, traversing picturesque viewpoints and settlements, with numerous photo opportunities.

Post lunch, a potential visit to Algar do Carvão (entrance fees not included) presents a chance to delve into the fascinating world of volcanic eruptions and their consequential formations.

The day’s adventures culminate with a return trip to the guest’s hotel.

• If the caves are not open, we typically visit the cheese factory and a few other attractions.
• From October 19, 2024, until the beginning of 2026, we will not be able to be responsible for visiting the “Algar do Carvão” cave, as it will be closed for works.
