An Unmissable, Incredible Guide - Incredible activity, both for the attractions visited and through the interaction of our very nice Guide. The Algar do Carvao was the highlight of the show. The explanations in our Guide have allowed us to better know the island, but also the history and culture of its inhabitants. They gave us excellent suggestions for the rest of our trip, including the Mysterious N**** Check-out from Gruta Natal which was memerable. Around with Jaime - With five other friends we hiked through the two caves (Natal and Çarvao) together with Guide Jaime who, in addition to being nice and helpful, explained many things about the island and the customs of its inhabitants. He also took us to Lake Patos and for each stop, after the explanation and after promptly answering our questions, he left us time to explore alone and take pictures. Recommended tour, duration half day, absolutely to do if you are on the island, thanks Jaime for sharing with us the beauties of your island! See you soon!

Terceira tours and caves - Beautiful Tour Guide prepared wonderful places. To do if you are in Terceira caves very very interesting as well as fumaroles

Lovely day in the mountains - Emelia was a wonderful tour guide and showed us some really beautiful places in the mountains around the island. Algar do Covao was a highlight, and I recommend folks use this company to get around and see some natural and geologic landmarks on Terceira.

Unmissable - This was an incredible tour!! The four sites are breathtaking—the visit to the inside if the vulcano is unforgettable and unlike anything else you will see. Our guide, Caterina, was wonderful. Very helpful, lively, knowledgeable and kind. I am mildly claustrophobic and this tour was not a problem for me (I am writing this because I would have found it helpful!)—two bits in the first cave are narrow but they are very short and very manageable. Crossing the island in a van, seeing the bulls, and learning all about local festivals and customs, such as the use of the Imperios, was an added bonus! I would certainly go again!!

Journey to the centre of the earth, almost. - Had a jolly half day out with James our bus captain. He was full of information and knowledgable about the island and archipelago, including the flora and fauna. I enjoyed the gruta do Natal, I banged my head more times than when I saw Motorhead. All good fun, the highlight for me was being inside the volcano monument looking up to the sky. Fascinating stuff, especially if you are into the natural world like I am. Highly recommended if on Terceira. Tip, wear some decent approach shoes/boots with ankle support.

Awesome! - Wonderful tour! Our tour guide Amelia was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the island in addition to getting to see the Christmas caves and volcano

Amazing! - We loved this tour and would do it again! Our guide Tony was great and super knowledgeable about all the caves and surrounding areas. Definitely book this if you’re on the fence!

Must do! - Highlight of our time on Terceira. Going inside the volcano was beautiful and once in a lifetime opportunity. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Inside a Volcano - The Undeground Van Tour was very good overall. We stopped at 4 different locations on the tour. We especially enjoyed the stops at the lava tube and the sights inside the volcano were amazing! Thanks to our tour guide James!
