Highlights
  • Cais Turistico de Santa Luzia - Cais de Santa Luzia is a complex located in the center of Angra dos Reis, considered the most traditional point of departure for visitors to the islands and schooner tours. It faithfully represents a little of the history and tradition of the municipality, mainly because it joins the fishing culture with its fishermen and colorful boats, worthy of a photograph during a walk in the late afternoon with the unmistakable beauty of the sea in the background.
It is an image that has always inspired, over time, countless plastic artists in the transformation of this scenario into beautiful watercolors.

Starting point of the boat.

  • Freguesia de Santana Beach - Simple beach of medium length, usually receives some visitors during high season, who find auqi a great option to relax due to the calm of the place. Beach predominated by fishing activity, its main visitors are fishermen, who live nearby. It is a good option for those who prefer less busy beaches to rest and replenish their energy. With a spacious strip of golden sand, it has a calm sea, which looks more like a natural pool, with transparent waters.
  • Lagoa Azul - In the middle of a small archipelago, the Blue Lagoon enchants by the tone of the water. The natural pool resembles the colors of the Caribbean and turns the place into a favorite of visitors for snorkeling or simply enjoying a swim in the sea.
  • Aracatibinha Beach - Simple and quiet beach, it is surrounded by large rocks and preserved native forest. It is small and cozy, great for those looking for a good place to rest. With a good strip of golden sand, it has calm and transparent waters.
  • Lagoa Verde, Ilha Grande - In this natural aquarium, which is the Green Lagoon, we can find several types of marine species such as fish, mollusks, corals, rocks and stones and even sea turtles. With a little luck, you will see some of these wonders of the deep sea.
  • Praia de Japariz - Stop for lunch at a typical restaurant in the region, the restaurant has the advantage of passing the menu inside the boat so that customers can choose the meal and it will be served as soon as it reaches the beach.

We have the option of lunch at a self-service buffet, which consists of: fried fish, fried chicken, beans, rice, various salads, mush and pasta.

Best day in Ilha Grande - Great trip! Rafael picked us up in the lobby, very punctual. He was kind, fun and knowledgable. The bus had AC , the bathroom was dirty tho. It is a true 14 hour day, I recommend water and snacks for the us ride. The trip itself was great. Ilha grande is absolutely beautiful! We made three stops in the island and they were all incredible, paradise! The tour is economical, fun and lovely. Highly recommend.

Long tour with too many people - We spent more than an hour for the pick up of all the guests and the we had a 2.30h journey until the port. Our guide Flavia was very friendly and polite. We went then on the boat where we were merged with another group for a total of 120 person! It was difficult to find where to sit, difficult to snorkel all together, I really didn’t like it. The food at the buffet was awful. We arrived back in Rio at 9pm. Not recommended

Avoid, it is awful and dangerous. - Avoid. This isn't a tour or snorkeling trip. Its a dangerous party boat. The journey from Rio took 7 hours. The stops on the alleged tour, the water was filthy and full of detritus, from plastic bottles, paper, wrappers, to nappies and ladies sanitary products. The beach we went to was disgustingly dirty. Again, filth everywhere. It was unbelievable. The lunch was served at 6pm. It was awful, even though we were really hungry, hadn't eaten since 6 am. It was inedible. It was covered in flies and just disgusting. Brazil is a fabulous place to visit. Unfortunately, this excursion is not worth the money, your time, and certainly not as advertised. You have been warned.
