Experience one of Australia’s most distinctive activities, Sandboarding. The rush of sliding down a towering 40-50 meter dune at the spectacular Worimi Conservation Lands Birubi Beach, is a memory that will last a lifetime.
Our professional team will be waiting for you in the Lower Car Park on James Paterson St Anna Bay. Keep an eye out for the Green and Black Sandboarding Australia Sign - this is where the adventure begins. Begin your journey on our custom-built off-road vehicles, which will take you on a brief, thrilling ride into the largest moving sand mass in the Southern Hemisphere.
Ascend to the pinnacle of the dunes, hop onto your board, glide down, and repeat! Your package covers the shuttle bus, equipment, and infinite sandboarding (or infinite joy!), allowing you to stay and immerse yourself as long as you wish. On average, visitors tend to spend around 1 – 1.5 hours.
Whenever you’re ready to leave, our 4WD buses (departing every half an hour) are there to transport you back to the Lower Car Park Anna Bay starting point.

Directions: Please follow James Paterson street to the very end, when you see the dunes drive as if you were​ driving into them and you will notice the road will vear down to the Lower Car Park. Look for the massive Green and Black Sandboarding Australia Sign. Parking is free.

Fun for kids and adults - This was so fun! Our family (kids ages 10 & 12) did this as a day trip from Sydney and had a blast. It’s hot out there on the dunes, so water and a shade umbrella are a must. We picked this tour b/c they allowed you to stand or sit on the board and I’m glad we got the chance to stand. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the cafe at this beach, the views were stunning and the food was delicious! Not much else to do in the area, but the beach was gorgeous and we probably could have made a beach day out of it as well. Great experience!

Great experience - We enjoyed it so much. We didn't have a reservation, drove into the parking lot and 5 minutes later we were on our way to the dune. It was great. There were hardly any people and we had the dune to ourselves. A great experience. We can recommend it. Our daughter (11 years old) really enjoyed it.

The staff is helpful. - It was amazing experience for us and the staff was very helpful. I forgot my hat and I asked them if I wanted to go my car, bring it back and go back to the sandboarding area and they understood.

A great experience and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family. - We enjoyed a wonderful experience and were cared by the staff extremely well. When we arrived at the sand dunes, we were greeted by a staff member who helped us provide more information and explained how to safely sand boarding as we were with our children.

Overall great day out - Had a blast sanduning.
The hardest part is walking up the dune of sand for the few seconds ride back down.
I really enjoyed the ‘stay as long as you want’ concept as there was no rush to get back if you are enjoying yourselves.
Also, the 4WD bus service to get there and back was great fun and an experience in itself.
The only downsides were that some customers still walked up the slope despite being told not to. This caused the slope to get less smooth overtime and therefore you can’t slide down as quickly.

Sandboarding school trip - We took a school trip here, it was organised well for us and the students had a great time. The only feedback that I would give is to have seats and lockers in the shade as some of the other companies have and to have some of the sandboards with the foot straps.

Fun in the sand - Lots of fun
Staff were very kind and helpful
Suggestion to wear goggles as it is windy up there and does damper the experience.
Gives you a good work out going up the sand dunes lol!
