Lots of fun - Great! Friendly staff, straight on to the bus to the dunes when we got there and only a few minutes wait for the bus back. Quick and simple instructions, lots of great photos, not too hard to walk up the hill, good time had by all. Good communication prior to the day as well.

Very fun!! - Really enjoyed our time and the sand dunes. Super tiring climbing up the sand dune but super fun sliding down and well worth it.

BRILLIANT - An hour of fun for families, couples or individuals. Throwing yourself down huge sand dunes in the heat with amazing views, what’s not to like. Why one hour? Because after one hour of climbing the dunes your legs will be killing you. Take plenty of water, a hat, and lotion. Be prepared to find sand for weeks in cracks you never knew you had.

Great fun - perfect weather and timing, we had a lot of fun out of sandboarding. This was the second time we did it. Would recommend it to anyone. A tip: close your mouth all the way when you are sliding down to avoid sand coming into your mouth.

Fun experience - Walking back up the sand dunes is really tiring though! - Fun experience for people of all ages. It was a seamless experience from pick up, drop off, and returning back to the pickup place. It is a physically tiring activity - Although it's a fun, safe & easy activity, climbing back up the sand dunes is no easy task. Some people may find themselves board once or twice down and spend the rest of the time just chilling without trying to climb back up - Although chilling in the middle of the vast sand dunes is a great experience in itself!

A fun afternoon out - I was lucky in the sense the day i went to the dunes, the windy days were gone. So let’s start- in order to get to the tour operator you need to go to the lower carpark at James Paterson road. This car park is fully sand and you got to be careful. My car got stuck while driving in.. i needed to twirl my steering left and right before managing to get out of the situation. I had also seen other card getting stuck too. The service from the operators are really sloppy, these guys on the ground are perhaps the sloppiest i’ve seen, not that there was much to do anyway. The company provides regular shuttles to the dunes. Once there, someone teaches you how to slide and off you go. It was a fun day out albeit tiring as walking up the dunes is no joke. Up on peak, the view is fantastic for a picture but look out for your phone.. sand gets in everywhere. The sand is so soft you can lie down. We went slow.. probably spent 2.5 hours there and slide down maybe 7-8 times. I suggest to go early.. take your time to enjoy the dunes. But remember to bring your water. There is only 1 small shelter at the dune and nothing else. It gets tiring and with the dry weather, you get dehydrated really quickly. I would suggest 1.5 litres per person. Going back you just have to tell the dude you’re heading back and he’ll arrange the shuttle for u. Try talking to the staff at the dunes, they seem really nice folks. They are also knowledgeable about the area so if you’re a tourist they might know a thing or two.

Company doesn’t prioritize costumer care. - The sandboarding with Tours R Us was definitely a blast, but the service was lacking. It gets super hot and tiring climbing up the dunes, so we were counting on the water they said would be provided. When we asked the staff up the dunes, they told us to get it from the company stall by the car park. However, when we went back, the stall was closed and they had gone, so we couldn’t get any water. We had to finish the activity without it, which wasn’t great. On top of that, the guide gave us his attention for about 2 minutes before heading off to nap next to the cones. It felt like the company didn’t really prioritize customer care.

Inaccurate time stamping, harsh refund conditions - I bought a ticket for 3:30pm, but when I got there, I was informed that the last bus to return was at 4:10pm. Didn't see the last bus time on the viator website, it only says unlimited tour. Google maps says 3:15 pm on the closing, actually the site still sells 3:30 pm tickets. According to the staff's suggestion, I intended to switch to the next day to play, but my personal situation did not have time to play on, so I wanted to get a refund, but I was told to refund the ticket 24 hours in advance of the refund, that is, 24 hours to refund the ticket before the scheduled 3:30 pm. I felt it was very unfair, why not state that there would be no ride back at 4:10pm. If the ticket had been refunded I would have brought more people back later often to make up for my regrets on this occasion, but now this won't be the case

Poor experience. Old 4WD with door handle fell off and cause injury - It's quite disappointing It was way too windy to go up the sand that day yet they didn't cancel the tour. The worst was the broken handle at the front seat door side. I fell from the tall 4WD when the broken handle fell off from the door. And I would recommend them to advise participants not to drive down the low carpark My car nearly got trap in the sand while I saw other did when I left.
