Our Favorite Place on Mykonos - This was by far our favorite thing we did on the island over three days. Mike, the cook and Michael our host were absolutely amazing. We were with a small group to do the cooking class and the food was absolutely delicious as was the wine. Meeting the animals on the farm and learning all the things about how it was built was great. We laughed so much and made new friends.

Great Greek experience with welcoming people. - Mike, our master baker, was an excellent teacher. He knew enough English to help us along and we made a variety of breads, a dessert, and a pizza all baked in an old stone outdoor oven. You really felt like a Greek family member was passing down old recipes! Michael gave us a fun tour of the farm and we got to spend time feeding the animals. He genuinely loved working on the farm! Jude also provided us transportation to and from the farm. This was a great activity if you want to immerse in the Greek culture with a charming baker named Mike. Do not hesitate to book this tour.

Highlight of our trip - Mike (chef) was amazing - the bomb! - One of the highlights of our trip to the Mediterranean. The chef, Mike, was one of the warmest, welcoming people I have ever met. Although we communicated quite a bit through Google Translate, we had a wonderful conversation with him waiting for our bread to rise and brunch to begin. After feeling smothered during our visit to Santorini, this trip on Mykonos is exactly what we needed! Don’t miss this.

Experience Mykonian tradition in an unforgettable way! - This excursion offers an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the heart of Mykonian culture through a hands-on experience at a local Melkonian farm.
Upon arrival at the cruise port, we were warmly greeted by a driver to bring us to the farm.
At the farm, the hospitable farm owners were eager to share their traditions. The highlight of the day is the bakery class where you learn the ancient art of breadmaking using traditional techniques. Under expert guidance, you knead and shape dough, discovering the secrets behind authentic Greek bread.
The farm itself is a picturesque setting where organic farming practices are not just a trend but a way of life. You'll have the chance to explore the grounds, witnessing firsthand the sustainable methods used in cultivating fresh produce. This immersion into traditional farming offers a unique perspective on the interconnectedness between food, culture, and the environment.
After your baking endeavors, we indulged in a delightful brunch featuring freshly baked bread and a variety of homemade Greek treats.
Throughout the experience, the warmth and friendliness of the farm owners shine through, making you feel like a welcomed guest in their home. They generously share stories about their way of life, offering insights into Greek culture that you won't find in guidebooks.
Whether you're a culinary enthusiast, a cultural explorer, or simply someone seeking a meaningful travel experience, the Mykonian Farm and Bakery Class with Brunch promises to leave a lasting impression. It's a perfect blend of education, delicious food, and heartfelt hospitality that embodies the true spirit of Greece. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with the roots of Mykonian tradition in an unforgettable way!

A wonderful experience with good food and people - We were picked directly outside our cruise ship and brought to the farm. It was a very nice small farm, with friendly staff and beautiful views. Then we met the chef who showed us how to make dough for bread and pizza. While the dough was rising, we were treated to coffee and a tour of the farm. There were dogs, cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, and very beautiful views. Once our tour was finished, we were able to enjoy what we made! The food was delicious- greek salad, spanikopita, tomato&feta pizza (that we made!), and a really delicious tzatiki dip.
I definitely recommend this tour for a smaller, quiet, exursion and a more immersive experience in the Greek culture. We even saw a few busses from our Cruise ship go to the farm, but our group was only 8 people, and we got to sit in a private area, away from the large tour buses.
This is a great tour for families, couples, adults, and even smaller children.

Farm experience - I booked this experience with my kids, who are all young adults. Our host Mike was gracious, funny and attentive as he guided us through the baking process. A tour of the farm with access to all the animals was a highlight for my animal-loving kids. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. It was a nice change to get out of the urban areas we had been visiting.

Not recommended if coming off a cruise ship. - This is probably a wonderful experience but we couldn’t go due to our cruise ship being unable to dock. I appreciate that they had a 24 hr cancellation policy, but when your ship changes plans the night before, you are out of luck and out of money. I wouldn’t recommend booking this if you are coming off of a ship since it appears to not be uncommon that ships can’t dock in Mykonos due to winds. I wish we could have come to the class but now we have spent hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it.

Waste of time and money - A lot of sitting around doing nothing. Making bread took 15 min, the chef, Mike was fun and nice but for the price it wasn’t worth it. “We” (15 people) gathered around a tiny table to mix a couple ingredients, then walked for 10 minutes around the small farm, and for the next 3 hours, we did nothing else.
