- Perge Ancient City - The tour departs in the morning to visit Perge, the site where many of the statues displayed in the Antalya Museum were discovered. This significant city of ancient Pamphylia was originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. St. Paul visited Perge during his first missionary journey. The theater stage features intricately carved marble reliefs, and other carvings from the city are showcased in the stadium. Enthusiastic archaeologists will appreciate the impressive city gate flanked by two towering structures, the long colonnaded road once adorned with mosaics and lined with shops, a large agora, public baths, and a gymnasium.
- Greek Amphitheater - Side is among the most renowned classical sites in Turkey. Once an ancient harbor, its name meant pomegranate. Now a charming resort town, its ancient ruins, two sandy beaches, numerous shops, and extensive tourist accommodations draw hundreds of visitors. The magnificent theater of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, is the largest in the region. Other notable monuments include the Agora, the Temple of Apollo near the sea, a fountain, and the Necropolis. The expansive Roman baths, now a museum, house one of Turkey’s finest archaeological collections.
- Manavgat Waterfall - The stunning Manavgat Waterfall is an ideal location for a picnic and a leisurely walk, where visitors can enjoy the calming sounds of water cascading over the rocks. Consider including the falls in a boat tour of the Manavgat River, taking in the scenic views and enjoying the refreshing breeze from the deck. While swimming is not permitted, visitors can cool off in other parts of the river.
- Aspendos Ruins - After lunch by the river, the tour continues to Aspendos, home to one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in Anatolia. The architecture and acoustics of the theater are sure to impress.
- Antalya - Concluding this incredible tour, the guide will return guests to their hotel, with arrival expected between 18:30 and 19:00.
