Excellent Historical Tour with Turkey's Finest Guide - The touristic guide we had was truly awesome! We were impressed by the way he brought Turkish history to life with the map on the bus. It was so informative and made the experience that much more engaging. And let's not forget about the delicious lunch we had - a perfect way to refuel for more sightseeing. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better tour experience. Thank you!

Worth doing tour from Antalya . - Overall a great trip . Just avoid buying tickets inside the tour bus ... half price for cleopatra pool at the pool itself . Covered many places and the day was well utilized.

Disappointing - I recently took the Pamukkale excursion and while the trip had its positive moments, there were some major disappointments. On the positive side, the pick-up was punctual, and the sights and overall excursions were enjoyable. However, what really detracted from the experience was the constant push towards overpriced stops. Every 'break' was at a store where it was clear the company was receiving a commission, with inflated prices like 5 euros for a small pack of biscuits. There was even one stop at a petrol station with local prices, but no one was given the option to get off because it seems they weren't earning a commission there. To top it off, at the end of the trip, envelopes were handed out with a not-so-subtle request for tips. It left a bad taste and felt very unnecessary.

Tourists scum included - The morning started with the bus being 10 minutes late from the promised pickup time, and no one showed up. I contacted the tour operator myself, only to be told that their vehicle had broken down. I was offered to replace the tour with an Antalya city tour, which, by the way, was much cheaper and not at all what we wanted. After I refused, they apologized again. I demanded an official cancellation of the tour, and they then offered to let us go an hour later with an English-speaking guide, to which I agreed. I specifically chose a Russian-speaking guide because my mother doesn’t speak English well. However, we had to settle for what was available. To be honest, I suspect that the Russian-speaking group simply didn’t have enough participants because I’m sure they could have found a replacement vehicle if they had tried. Our guide, a woman, made sexist jokes about men, which I didn’t appreciate. On the way, we were taken for breakfast at a gas station with obviously inflated prices. After that, we were taken to a store selling precious stones, with ridiculous claims about how the stones bring good luck, relieve stress, and other nonsense. We spent over half an hour at this place. Next, we stopped at a so-called "restaurant," where we weren’t given any water and were told we couldn’t drink water from our own bottles, only purchase theirs. Naturally, I ignored this and drank from my own bottle without paying them a cent. The food was average. Half the day was wasted on eating and listening to absurd sales pitches. In the end, we left at 6:35 AM and only reached Pamukkale at 12:30 PM, where we were given until 4:00 PM to explore. The seatbelt on my mother’s seat in the bus didn’t work, which, considering how fast drivers in Turkey drive, is a significant safety issue. Pamukkale is an incredibly beautiful place with stunning ancient ruins. It is absolutely worth visiting, especially in winter when it’s less crowded and the travertines are full of water. However, if you have the chance to avoid this tour operator, "Orpenna Global Travel," and go there on your own, I highly recommend doing so. This way, you won’t waste a lot of time on tourist traps. With this tour, it felt like I was paying for a TV commercial with my own money.
