Constructed over 150 years, the Amphitheater is part of the unique 2500-year-old Pamukkale Hierapolis Ancient City, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as both a cultural and natural heritage site. Following restoration, the Hierapolis Amphitheater holds a prominent place among Roman Period Anatolian Theaters in the Mediterranean basin, with its mythological reliefs, magnificent stage building, and seating steps of the Antalya Perge Theater.
-
Pamukkale Thermal Pools - The natural pools of Pamukkale will be visited with the guide. The minerals in the water here change the colors on the rock surface, making everything as white as cotton. The water offers numerous benefits for the human body.
-
Cleopatra Pools - There are many more places to explore, but it seems that one of the most extraordinary swimming experiences in the world was had here. How many other places with 23 centuries of history offer swimming experiences? (If there are any, swimming was prohibited in them during this period, and the only thing that got wet in their waters was wish money.)
This is the Ancient Pool, also known as Cleopatra Pool, in the city of Hierapolis from the 2nd century BC. Under the protection of UNESCO, the site is on the World Cultural Heritage List and is located in the Hierapolis Ancient City, just above the Pamukkale Travertines. It is considered a great experience to enjoy such a precious legacy in such a special way. By the way, this has been removed from the list of things to do before you die!
