El Torcal - Our guide Natalie was super. She told us all about the origins of the mountain and the ammonites. She pointed out the special flora and introduced us to a couple of very happy goats. Stunning place !

Breathtaking tour with a professional guide. - It was a breathtakingly beautiful hike through a beautiful karst landscape. We were led by the professional guide Justine. She knows what she is doing and she talked enthusiastically about the mountains. The tour was doable and easy to maintain with an average level of fitness. Justine suggested having lunch in Antequera afterwards and dropped us off in the old town. It was a worthwhile excursion!

Great day trip from Malaga - We were picked up in a minibus in Malaga and driven to Antequera where a few more people were collected ( our whole group numbered eight) and we then drove the 20 mins to El Torcal. The next two and a half hours were spent with Natacha ( who speaks fluent English, French and Spanish) leading us around the magnificent karst landscape of El Torcal. The ground is a bit rocky in places so you have to watch where you place you foot but there isn’t much uphill hiking involved. Natacha would stop frequently to make sure we all kept up and to tell us about the wonderful fauna and flora of the area. She searched for and pointed out different ammonites (which lived in the Jurassic period, over 140 million years ago) many of which were much smaller than the one in the photo. Her cheer and enthusiasm was inspiring and time went by very fast.
We were later dropped off in Antequera where we had lunch ( very good meal at A Mi Manera) and we then made our way to the top of the town to visit the 14th century Moorish fortress, the Alcazaba.
Later we caught a bus back to Malaga, making it a great day trip without the need to rent a car.

Great guide, logistics need improvement - Our guide was great, very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. We saw wonderful rock formations, goats
This was advertised as a 4 hours tour from Malaga. We were picked up in Malaga at a meeting point but then dropped off at another town and handed a bus ticket. We were told the bus ran at 2, 5 and 7, however we were dropped there at 1. We saw a bus and got on it and turns out if left at 1:15. So completely wrong info and if we thought we had an hour to spend we would have missed this bus just by stopping for water and who knows how long we would have been stranded. Then bus brings us to Malaga, a mile from where the meeting point was. Lost 2 hours and this bus part was completely u acceptable.
