Amazing Guide – Highly Recommend! - Amazing Guide – Highly Recommend!
We had the absolute pleasure of having Kahlil as our guide for our adventure in Antigua, and he made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, his friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable vibe made us feel at ease and excited for the day ahead.
Kahlil shared fascinating insights about the local history, culture, and landmarks as we hiked the Fort Berkeley Trail. He made sure we were comfortable every step of the way and even added some surprise stops, like taking us to One Stone Vegetarian for a delicious local snack. His passion for sharing the beauty of Antigua was evident, and it truly elevated our experience.
If you’re looking for a guide who is professional, personable, and genuinely cares about making your experience memorable, Kahlil is the one! We can’t recommend him enough.
Thank you, Kahlil, for such an incredible day

Best views! - Dwight was a perfect guide! We hiked to the top of the highest peak on the island and enjoyed panoramic views of the entire island. This hike is no joke- but if you are in decent shape it is well worth it. Then we visited the most gorgeous secluded beach with crystal clear waters. It was a fantastic half day excursion!

Great experience! - Booked the Shirley/Carpenters hike for the views. Fairly challenging, a bit of a workout. Views and pictures well worth it! Dwight was outstanding in every facet, great conversation, shared so much about the island and culture and history. Pace was enjoyable, water and rest as needed, took tons of photos. Great overall experience, will book again.

Exceptional - Planning a trip can be stressful but TrekTours made planning easy and the experience amazing. We reached out to get a personalized recommendation and Shawn immediately responded and based on our schedule, interests and hiking experience was able to make some suggestions and provide us with details. Our group selected Boggy Peak hike, booking on Trip Advisor was easy. Shawn quickly reached out to verify our desired pick up place and solidified the time. The day of our hike, Barry was an incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, and hugely personable guide. We found some wild fruits to try, learned about plants and animals, and thanks to trek tours, were able to climb to the top with an added view up the cell tower- the latter not an option when doing the hike independently due to a locked entrance. The ride to and from our destination was in an incredibly clean van and the AC was strong and appreciated on the hot day. We felt safe, prepared, and had a BLAST with this tour. Our only regret would be not spending enough time on land to allow for a second or third hike with them on another day. Can’t recommend or thank Trek Tours, Barry and Shawn enough!

Hiking in the Antigua Rain Forest - We had a fantastic experience with Trek Tours. We were two couples traveling to Antigua, in search of an activity that combined exercise and local scenery. The Rain Forest Hike met the bill. Dwight met us at Sandals Grande Antigua resort and provided us with transportation, water, hiking sticks and most importantly a well-guided hike that involved lots of information about the local fauna and foliage. Dwight, who is all kinds of first aid certified and knowelegable, let us set our own pace, pausing to take in the views (and for me to catch my breath). On the way back to the resort, he detoured so that we could see some of the amazing costumes and floats from the Carnival parade happening. He was generous in sharing knowledge about nature as well as Antigua history and customs. Dwight is the kind of guy that I wish I could share some snacks and drinks with after the hike and get to know him better.

Carpenter Rock gorgeous hike - Rick guided me on the Carpenter Rock Loop up to Shirley Heights Lookout and down to the Pillars of Hercules and along the beach to finish. Incredible views! We even munched on edible cactus fruit that was in bloom. Note that inclines can be steep both up and down so you need to be fit and ok with heights. According to my Strava it was 4km and 300m elevation gain. Thank you!

Boggy Peak/ Mt Obama hike - Great hike today up to Boggy Peak/Mt Obama with Dwight. He provided a lot of information about the trees and other vegetation and wildlife we encountered during the hike, as well as about Antigua generally. Easy to book, on time door to door service. Highly recommend this professional and personable guide and hiking company!

Comprehensive tour of stunning Antigua - I only had limited time to explore the stunning Antigua so opted for a Hike N Drive tour with Trek Tours. It was a perfect fit for what I was wanting to do. My guide Dwight picked me up at my hotel in the northwest side of the island and we ended up doing a drive all the way to the south side of the island for the Shirley Heights hike as well as exploring the English Harbor area and the culture museum stop. On the way back we came via the rain forest and some quaint colorful villages. So this half-day tour gave me a pretty comprehensive glimpse of much of Antigua.
The hike up to Shirley Heights was spectacular with panoramic views of the sea shore and the harbor and the various inlets, and the outlying islands. Dwight made this tour even more special with his extensive knowledge and passion about Antigua, and his flexibility is reorienting the tour so we could avoid heavy downpours at times in certain sections of the island. Special thanks to him also for showing me some sights very relevant for a cricket fan, and driving through St. Johns for me to get a quick view of the capital city as well as the iconic Antigua Recreation Ground !
I highly recommend Trek Tours for a wonderful exploration of Antigua.
